Soooo last night I went to a Steampunk Octo(pi) Bake Off that a local group came up with. These people are awesome!! I always have a great time with them! Here are a few pictures (okay maybe a lot of pictures).

A little explanation: This was an idea that evolved into a full fledged bake off with the Octopus type theme.

This is my creation. A Kraken Rum Cake (which was gluten free) along with Kraken Rum Tentacles....instead of rum balls. There was also a Rum glaze to go with the cake. It was very well received.


Of course there were many entries which were awesome displays and so yummy! But it soon digressed into silliness. The stick-on mustaches came out!


Then of course I had to try and disguise myself... Apparently I still look like a girl trying to look like a boy. I was surprised all of my hair fit in the wig. Ha


Then we had a midnight/1am Nerf battle to end the night. This is probably my favorite picture of myself from the night:


Anyway, some of the most fun I've had in a while! Now to find something to make for another food/Super Bowl party!!
