Great weekend was had w/ my misses and the lovely Candee Suicide.

Went to the last show of this years Hell On Earth tour. Stick To Your Guns blew me away opening the show! Didn't know them before but am a definate fan now. Animosity had tech probs and kept their performance short, which I didn't mind too much cus I wasn't really feeling them. Nor the next band, locals Human Demise (filling in for Cataract). Then The Red Chord came on, another band I didn't know, but they gave a solid perfomance. Big ups to the leadsinger, he smiled so much you couldn't resist feeling happy! Then.. then Evergreen Terrace took the stage. They're one of my fav's and they were ace once again!! And of course Walls Of Jericho finished / headlined the tour, getting the entire venue to bounce, mosh, scream, cheer, and just rock out all together. Great energy, awesome performance!




You should've come with us. See you all there next year?

Week 41.

Highlights?

Getting my 'misguided angel' finished by J.Tattoo. He's still without his weapon tho, cus I haven't decided on what to hand him really. He's part of a full frontal scenery that we'll be executing over the following months/years, so choice of arms will depend on what I choose to place on my left hip to oppose him.

Also went to the Kubus + BangBang show on Friday w/ my boy D and my lovely misses. Ran into some familiar faces I hadn't seen in ages, so that made it a great night as well.

Upcoming week will be busy again @ work, but with a nice reward for it on Sunday: the Hell on Earth tour!!!!

Lately my thoughts go out to these two guys. Let's all hope for a speedy and full recovery.

That said, I been kinda awol on here lately, haven't I? Haha. Still posting, still responding, just been a while since my last update so here goes....



Work's okay, college is good, the team's struggling to survive, we're retraining our doggy (separation anxiety), might have to find a new home for one of our cats (Mirra's also suffering from separation anxiety), am going to the Hell on Earth tour October 19th w/ Candee Suicide (also pictured above with yours truely and my misses), see Kubus + BangBang this Friday, aaaand will get my ink finished on Wednesday.

That's the ups & downs of this monkey's life at the mo. How are you lot doing?!

Btw, has anyone told you lately that you're a wonderful person? Well I'm telling you now, and I'm grateful for our friendship.

About 10 pm last night: I set up the sleeper-sofa we recently put in the livingroom. Haha. We spend there all night, first watching tv-shows, then.... sleeping.

Almost 9 am this morn: I got up with the bear (our doggy) and went to the park. The wind was freezing but there was clear blue skies and sunshine!

Bout half9 (still morning): woke up the misses, climbed back in the 'new bed', this time w/ tea and pancakes. Mmmm.

Sometime after 11 (am): got up, got showered, got dressed.

Two pm: D & Marlou dropped by, we headed into town w/ them and the bear, and teamed up w/ Candee again. Briefly checked the Tattoo Expo again (nothing special, still), then grabbed late lunch at Micky D's.

Between 4 and 5 pm: back home. The misses playing on the DS, me writing a new bloggy, the bear sleeping.

Tonight: do some homework, then watch tv.

That's a lazy Sunday.

My 'escapades' of the past two weeks included:
> anniversary dinner w/ the misses, since we been together for 2 years already!
> a quiet birfday (didn't feel like celebrating, but thanx for all who showed their love, I love y'all!!!!)
> dJvT-show last Friday, which wasn't the greatest ..but had the right people with me so we had a blast anyways
> La Fura dels Baus on Saturday, which was, well, not at all what we expected; towards the end all I could think was this is a burlesque show gone hippiely weird
> then on Sunday we hooked up w/ my friend D and his girl, and the ever so lovely Candee to visit the Tattoo expo, so far there's not much to see, but we decided to get pics taken of us and they'll be put up sometime this week, so we'll go see again this weekend

Oh and yesterday I had a case-talk (there's one after each semester) for the college I'm following ....and I aced it, woohoooo!!
