The absolute most gentle, caring, kind, loving, accepting, light-hearted, beautiful soul I know passed away yesterday. I can't recall if I ever told her how much I love her or how incredibly special she is to me. Michelle taught me a lot about unconditional love and what it means to be good to people. A great source of love and light is gone from us all. So if I seem overly mushy towards you it's because I can't bear the idea of you not knowing how loved you are. In this journey there are only two paths; you either live in love or live in fear. Love hurts more, but I won't live in fear. If there's anything I can grasp on to in this terrible situation it's that. I won't venture to speak for the dead, but I will say, that Michelle was an intensely loving person and I will try to honor her light by trying to share as much love as I can with you guys.

Trust, homes, that fish has been reeled since '08 when I mounted her (OH YEAH) and then hung her on my wall. She is literally my absolute favorite person.

As the speaker at her service said, don't hold back the tears. Let them flow. That's part of it. But then laugh too because that is also part of it.

And yes, her excited clapping was infamous. I even wore my ninja belt buckle and thought it was the right thing to do to give the removable ninja star to Dorothy. She was her best ninja, after all. I'm kind of glad that it was a closed casket ceremony because now I can remember her as she was...and we all know the makeup artist wouldn't have done as good a job as Michelle would have anyway. Lol.

I can't get into chat while I'm here because the wifi password isn't working, so if you could please send my love to everyone and I'll be back tomorrow night after I get back. Thanks! <3
