i read the interview yesterday...
and while i enjoyed it, i just never post on the boards.
and barely ever comment on any story or interview....( i'm the queen of lame comments)
but i will say this,
i'm not sure i'm buying the fact that he never indulged in any drugs

This is very good news, about the movies. I always thought El Topo and The Holy Mountain were far superior to Fando & Lis and Santa Sangre, just in their complete saturation with imagery that strikes one's mind with aggressive emotional, even spiritual, impact beyond all the other great directors we've had.
I didn't like the comic I read much, but then I only read one, the first Technopriests one. It seemed to lack something. I still wouldn't mind at least seeing some of the other ones, though, out of sheer respect for the stuff I've already mentioned plus his ideas in interviews like the El Topo script book, the Fando & Lis DVD, etc.
