guhhhh... I am such a slacker.
I skipped work today to get a lot of things done....but as you may have noticed I'm writing this instead. Bad girl!
oh... HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!
My favourite day of the year
but I don't have a costume this year because I was too much of a procrastinator. I went to work in a suit on Sunday and said I was a business man...which isnt nearly as cool as the upgraded Hello Kitty costume I was going to sew.
What are you all dressing up as tonight??
I probably should think of something because we ARE planning to go out tonight.
I could go with the whorey wench outfit....but its a little inappropriate I think.
Let's recap:

Well, at least I accomplished ONE thing today. I went to the post office... GO ME!
Also, lately I've been listening to this crazy album I discovered. Its a reggae interpretation of Radiohead's OK Computer. Very interesting. I like it.
I've also been wasting a lot of time with my Macbook's lovely webcam.....
my favourite is the mirror function hehehe.

I guess I'd better go attempt to do something useful now.....

Today we added two new little friends to our family.

Meet Ziggy and Zoltan....

They are scared of us, but don't mind the bunny so much. It will take some time I guess. Cute though....
It snowed the other day for the first time this year. I was pretty surprised but it was kinda nice....just cold.
I'm feeling kinda down today though.....maybe its all those gloomy looming clouds. Come on sunshine....come out!

I've been having a pretty sweet week for the most part....other than work and school.
...two concerts and a mushroom trip.
Alex and I went to Gigantour last monday and it was pretty fun. I was a lil pissed off that Opeth only played 4 songs, and we had to leave early to catch the bus....but overall t'was fun times.
HAHA I also went a concert yesterday....with my best friend and her mom.... It was good fun. Dwight Yoakam.....haha
It was all a bunch of old ladies. I took pictures!

And then last weekend we had another mushroom party. Our theme was "birthday party" and we pretended it was everyones birthday. It was pretty sweet. We had a pinata and cupcakes and streamers and party blowers and sparklers. We went out into the forest again on an adventure. It was pretty damn good other than the crappy weather...but we really didn't care once we were tripping.

and my silly bunny was hiding under the table all day today. Apparently yesterday when I was in London he was rampaging around the house doing flips and crazy tricks.
and now I'm home alone..... *sniffle*
all my roomies are at the library. I should really be studying too but.....but.......
okay fine. I'll go.

I have escaped oblivion and returned unscathed....well for the most part.
It certainly has been a while though, so in all likelihood I have a lot to say and many a picture to post.....and thus it begins.
I suppose I should pick up where I left off, before my week's vacation. Now it wasn't MUCH of a vacation....a week with my boy and my family in one of the tiniest towns in rural ontario....but there were a few points of excitement.
-went to a croquet tournament and lost miserably
-found out I need my wisdom teeth removed because they are in my face completely sidways
-also found out my darling wifey is in jail for ARMED ROBBERY!? yeah.....wtf. See what happens when you leave someone alone for 2 weeks?
-had a magical day at wonderland and conquered my fear of waterslides!

le *sigh*.....t'was magical and wonderful
Soon after that we moved into our new place in Guelph. Its a basement apartment with a pretty sweet setup, back yard, nice area, lots of stuff nearby. I love it here. I'm much happier here than I was in London so its all seemed to work out well so far.
O Week here was a ton of fun.
We went to a PIRATE PARTY! It was pretty fantastic though I had to spend my whole day sewing a whorey wench outfit. Totally worth it though.

We also had our first mushroom trip of the year and it was amazing. We planned on going to the arboretum but just kind of walked around it. We found this gigantic steep muddy hiill which we climbed and on the top found this great little place... our new "clubhouse". It was grey all day long, but there was a patch of sunshine over top of our clubhouse. We found this little guy there:

In the total 4 hours we were gone we went to only two places, but it was a fantastic journey filled with smiles and laughter and minimal terror. The only bad part was almost getting eaten by the washrooms in the university center. The worst part was I had to face it alone because I was with a whole bunch of boys...but as soon as I got outside with familiar faces it was all good. We went on to an adventure in the forest embracing the beauty and oddities of nature, hugging trees and finding treasures.

Well...other than that I guess nothing major has really gone down. We've been going out to the campus bar a lot and are planning an assault on the cannon. It may not happen until spring, but we are going to paint it to look tye-dyed.
I guess that about sums it up....no wait! MY MACBOOK! Its beautiful and wonderful; everything i've ever dreamed of an more. Its just a fun computer.
My favourite feature?
The built in webcam and Photobooth:

and monday I get to see Opeth again!!
okay I think I covered everything......

It seems I haven't updated in a while. I'm such a slacker!!
1. School is finally done....just in time for it to start again! w00t!
2. Less than two weeks remain until I move into the new place in Guelph....oh yeah I guess I never mentioned
before that I'm moving. SURPRISE!
3. Imma gettin' one o' these;

Sweeeeet.
As soon as I'm less broke anyway.
4. Also when I'm less broke I may be adopting another bunny so little Arrow can have a friend. TWICE the fun and mischief. Can you imagine??
Yeah...so as you can tell my life is pretty boring right now.... Instead of school all morning and work all night, its packing all morning and work all night....until Tuesday....my LAST DAY!!!
...and then Friday marks the beginning of my week of vacation. Can you BELIEVE it??! a VACATION!
Anyhoo, time for more (not) fun!

Just came back from a lovely weekend in the ever-so-terrible New Lowell.....(I don't expect any of you to know where that is...no one else does)
Actually it was pretty sweet....we were kept rather busy the whole time.
There was a zoo trip, and a bunch of doctor and dentists appointments, as well as visiting a lot of friends and such......but I suppose the important part is the pictures......so here you go:

Hm...that should be about it for now. I may post a few more later on.....
1. In the morning I have my first biology midterm
2. My hair is mauve
3. I'm going to the zoo on Sunday.

I had a lovely trip to Toronto yesterday. I took my boy out to the Slayer concert at the Molson Amphitheatre.
After two hours on the Greyhound we finally made it to Toronto, STARVING because we didn't have enough time to eat before we left. That was fine though because I had everything all planned out. We went to this great little restaurant kinda near the AGO...
It's called Vegetarian Haven and was absolutely wonderful.

I think you can click on that picture to go to the website if I did it correctly.
Anyway...I can't get over this restaurant. The menu was so goddamn huge I couldn't even read it all.
I settled on this wrap with tofu and grilled veggies with a salad and it was very very yummy. I don't even know what else to say about it. Alex was with me and had this really yummy curry rice stuff. He complained because there wasn't enough food to fill his big omnivore belly and so we decided to have dessert.......ohgod delicious...... I had the vanilla tofu cheesecake and it was even better than I remember cheesecake being. Needless to say, I was very pleased with my lunch.
After food we wandered around for a while....Walked over to the Eaton's centre so we could cool down. It was ridiculously hot out. We wandered by the Edge and they asked us to participate in some taste test thing for the new coke zero or whatever...... so we did...and I won a pair of tickets to Edgefest 2. If anyone wants to go, let me know, I have a pair of tickets to a show I don't want to see, and will never use...especially since I'm going to the zoo that day, and obviously the zoo is more important than an emo cryfest....no offense to anyone who might enjoy that sort of thing.
Anyway, finally we decided to make our way down to union station to catch the streetcar... We made it to the amphitheatre and found our seats...which were kinda behind a pole.....then found some other seats which no one ever came to claim. The show was pretty good considering its not really my thing. I just don't like American metal....and I don't even like Slayer at all. I liked Children of Bodom though.....they are from Finland. Everyone knows real metal comes from Scandanavia....well at least all the good stuff. I find COB to be kinda cheesy though.....but it was still good. Mastodon was fine, Lamb of God too, and Slayer was okay. I just can't handle the vocals. I just don't like Thrash vocals......I can't help it. It was okay though...better than I thought it was going to be.
I kinda like going to the Molson Amphitheatre.....but moreso when we have better seats. Prices for stuff are pretty ridiculous though, even for a concert......I mean.... $4.50 for a bottle of pop? Come on now......
But, like I said, pretty good day overall, ending with a nice long bus ride home at 1am. Bus seats are not very comfortable beds.
Thats about the end of my story.....

So, I finally found my cable for my camera, and in celebration I have a glorious picture post for you all....
This about sums up the first half of my summer:
Here is Arrow being silly, resting his head on a sneaker after a very tiring rampage.

(Just as a side note before we continue with this post.... there were 109 pictures on my camera...and I SWEAR 80 of them had the bunny in them.....so the moral of the story is you are going to have to look at his cute little fuzzy face about 4 jillion more times)

=cutest picture of Arrow ever. In the kitchen with his favourite glove <3

This one is the adventure bunny, getting into adorable trouble as usual.
and now for a change of wonderful things.....javascript:insertSmilie('
', 'insertTarget');
surreal

a pie! Gingerbread Apple Pie to be exact.....and thats how much was left after Alex and I ate pie for dinner because it was just too damn good not to.
And from the weekend I was SUPPOSED to go to AnimeNorth......some nature.

Tripping in the forest is the best thing ever, and was totally worth missing seeing all my nerdy friends dressed in their dorky costumes....and of couse being just as dorky myself. If you are curious, I was going to dress as Hello Kitty.
Also from that same trip into the forest, a REAL rabbit.....unlike that fat loveable ball of fur we call Arrow.

Oh, and speaking of fat and fuzzy here is the ball of Chu:

When all of my roommates went home to Toronto they left all of their pets here for ME to take care of....isnt that sweet.
Thats about it really. I have my chem final on Monday....and today I decided to buy the text book to ensure that I pass. I have to work for 10 hours so I figure I'll have some time to pass in between the angry french people and old ladies who've flushed their car keys down the toilet at costco.
Okay I think its just about shower time.
Everyone have a much more exciting Friday night than me....PLEASE.

My weekend....in.....MATH!!!
+ 2 days of sleeping in
- 20 hours of work in 2 days
+ 6 new old ninja turtles VHS
+ 1 deer sighted
+ 3 grounhogs sighted
+ 1 baby bunny sighted
- 1 stolen bike
- 1 bike lock stolen with bike
- 1 trip home on foot in the heat after 10 hours of work
+ 2 psych studies worth $10 each
- 1 missed class
- 1 class that I will miss tomorrow to write up my lab report for tomorrow
+ 1 delicious vegan poutine
+ 2 dinners ready for when I got home c/o the ever-so-wonderful freeloader Alex
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
= Total weekend score of -7 (not great weekend)
That about sums up my last few days. My only other news, really, is that I've planned a trip to the Toronto Zoo with all my best university and high school friends, and some of their friends. So far there are 20 people coming and not everyone has rsvp'd yet....so it should be a pretty exciting day.
I figure if i'm going to go home for a weekend I might as well see all my friends I need to see at once and get it over with in one day so I can do what I need to do for the rest of the time.
That's not happening until July 16th, but don't worry, I'll post 3 jillion pictures from the trip when I get back to London on the 18th or so.
Anyhoo, time to make some potato leek soup.
123 GONE!
