As some of you may know already, I'm an auntie!
That is baby Lilly my wonderful new niece. I had the pleasure of watching her wriggle her way out of my sister until 3:30 am on Thursday. It was super intense. I had about an hour of sleep the night before, and sat in the delivery room for 20 hours with no entertainment (dumb dumb poor planning). Around 2:30 I called my grandpa to come pick me up because I needed to drive back to Guelph for work the next day. I'm all ready to go out and meet him in front of the hospital for 3:15, and all of a sudden the baby is arriving! She wouldn't let me go home without meeting her first.
When my sister asked me to be in the delivery room I said yes, but joked a lot about Alien and my need for a plasma gun, and expected that watching a live childbirth would scar me for life but it actually turned out to be the most magical wonderful thing I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly in no hurry (nor have any desire) to have children. I still remember all the rest of the reasons.
Anyway, before all that fun was probably the best roller derby practice yet. I even got my first bruise! I'd post a picture, but its like the size of a nickel and starting to fade.
We did a lot of hitting, but the best part?
FULL CONTACT ROLLER SKATE BASKETBALL
yeah.... that's right.

So cruel a world where i've tried my whole life to grow a moustache like that, and it took a day after being born for my niece to grow one.

your right, most dolls always look sad, or both beautiful and lifeless, some don't though, dollfie dreams have fun smiling ones which is a nice.

or first bruise from roller-derby? (Forgive me, I'm retarded. ) Now I'm totally thinking of the chest-bursting scene from Alien. LOL@Mustache! Mighty impressive given her age.
Guess I started listening to Death when I was around 13 - so not really a "child" per se. I was huge into death metal at that time; I was searching for the most brutal, underground music, so as to be different from everyone else, which was dumb in hindsight. Just listening to a few good death-metal bands and several horrible ones, lol. Morbid Angel will always be my favorite, even though their new album was trash.
