At the convention one of the girls got her phone and wallet stolen (there was 200 bucks in it).
We raffled off 2 signed copies of Hard Girls, Soft Light and ended up raising $500 for her! Warm fuzzies!

It may have snowed this morning, but I woke up to see the return of Fuzzykins the squirrel back in our tree. He brought another squirrelly friend. And a fat robin stopped by! Lovely weather is nigh, I can feel it!

This weekend I met my niece for the first time at her baptism.
It was such a joyful experience. The tension between my family and I evaporated in a celebration of hugs, laughter, and putting aside differences.
Got all dressed up for the occasion!
Apparently I have lost 12 pounds since my last annual doctor check-up (I went last week), and I think this pic shows it. I don't keep a scale in the house, so I didn't know about the weight loss, but it makes me feel really awesome.
My grandmother came up and I hadn't seen her since my wedding, much less since grandpa passed. My mother, aunt, her and I all had wine and sang "Cuanto le Gusta.
I even went to the Catholic Mass beforehand (I knew it would mean so much to my family). Odd memories from my childhood aside, the church was stunning.
I made the cakes for the party afterwards (My rose skills are improving!)
I held the muffin for the first time. She is so beautiful.

Today marks my 5 year anniversary at the bakeshop.
Despite all the stress, I am proud of my job dedication. And whenever I want to quit, I just think that it gives me the monies to do fun, happy things (photoshoots, trips, adventures, etc).
My girl Brittany made me a fancy steak cake to celebrate. In honor of the customer who repeatedly asks me "so there's NO meat in your cakes? No meat at all?" lol
Like a boss!
Even though it's more than 8 months away, I'm really looking forward to Halloween.
I recently had a spooktacular dream about a haunted amusement park for some reason. I'm so hopeless haha

Holy hell, I am so glad Christmas is over.
The holidays were more exhausting for me this year than any other. Things were especially rough at the shop being so short-staffed. Lots of overtime and more overtime for me. But it's all over...phew!
2012 was a huge, rockin year for me, especially here on SG.

In April I went pink.
After years of being a hopeful and 6 sets, I finally hit the Front Page with Prelude to a Kiss. A dream come true. I will honestly never forget that day and the cloud on which I was floating.
The next month I went to my first Hell City in Columbus! Met so many wonderful ladies...unf!
I really really hope I can make it again this year. It's always so tough getting one day off work much less 3. Cross your fingers and pray to Satan, peeps!
While in Columbus I got to shoot with the amazing tmronin. I really adore his work, and think he's just a rad dude to be around! So much fun!
In August I worked my first convention. Wizard World Chicago was super cool!
Attended the annual SG Halloween party in C-bus too!
Some personal milestones this year:
Moved into a lovely new apartment, away from the damned college kids *puts on old-fart face*
So happy here!
My baby byronNME got his first online work published on Amazon!
I am so so proud of him and his incredible talent. Please go check out his essay called On Fear and Faith.

On November 23rd my sister gave birth to the most gorgeous, amazing chub of a baby. Her name is Cora Elizabeth, and I am already so in love with her! My sister and her hubby live in Florida, so I haven't yet met this wonder muffin of joy. I am dying to hold her in my arms and give her endless kisses! She is just perfect. ((squeals/weeps))

Dave Brubeck has passed away at age 91. His music was my gateway into the jazz world. He will be missed.

Exceeded every expectation!
From the opening credits you know immediately you're in for some old-school level Bond fun. Craig shines with a genuine coolness while maintaining that campy sense of humor which is so essential for 007's character (no more brooding as in the still-great Casino Royale). The highlight though? Javier Fucking Bardem. A deliciously twisted role played with eerie and charming fervor. (Yup, I'd STILL hit that...mmmmm). The cast clearly had a blast making this film, and that energy is infectious and addictive for the audience. Unf...so amazing!
This happened to the house behind us on Halloween night.
Thankfully the family who used to live there moved out months ago. The house was engulfed in 30 foot flames around 2am and burned down in minutes. It was so terrifying, but the scene was hauntingly beautiful.
Superman was looking out for us...
