So I'm moving. My employer has given me three locations to choose from Chandler AZ, SLC UT, or Albuquerque NM.

I'm about 90% certian Utah is where I'm heading.

Chandler is a distant 10%

It's been a crazy week, I had a great time at the Century Masters event, met some amazing people, learned some great new moves, including my first aerial tricks, thanks to a routine called first stops, where I do a lift while in tandem charleston called a russian jump, and then another jump, that finishes with a cannonball into open possition. I learned so much in such a short amount of time, that I forgot every single move I learned during the first day, and had to go buy a note book to start writing down all my new tricks the rest of the week. And after taking a Tap class, I may give Tap dancing a shot. If nothing else it will improve my jazz styling giving my lindy a little more flair.

I've only had a little time back, and tommorow I'm heading off to Orange County, Ca for Inspiration Weekend for three more days of classes and social dancing.

But before I go, I have to start my next session of local classes, I'm going to skip the Century Ballroom and just take Blues dancing, and continue my intermediate lindy with Chris Chapman .

Woot! I'm on vacation. I'm going to be at the Masters of Lindy Hop and Tap event in Seattle, meeting and taking classes from some of the legends of swing and jazz dance.

Should be a killer week.

Thank you all for your condolences, they really did cheer me up. It felt good knowing you cared enough to say something, so again thank you.

I managed to plan my mothers services for the 7th. Her remains will be placed in a niche at the Verterans cemetary near FT. Lewis, her service will include an Honor guard, flag ceremony, and I opted to use the military Chaplin in lieu of getting her church involved. I designed her niche plate which will have an angel moroni insignia to represent her church, and the inscription was chosen by my father to say "beloved wife and mother". A little simple for my taste, but I'm sure she would approve.

On happier news front, I'm going back to school at the end of July, to finish my Business management degree, and continue on to my BA in Marketing which if I'm diligent I should be able to finish in about two and a half years. I'm a little nervous though because I haven't been a student in 15 years.

My birthday is coming up on the 3rd, and I have about four people campaining to take me out, I have no idea what to do yet.

edit-- I completely forgot I've got a dance class scheduled for my birthday, so I'm most likely going to be dancing all night.

I've registered for my lindy hop class starting on June 12th

I'm only seven pounds away from my weightloss goal I had set for the summer, which means I'm most likely going to add another 20lb's to my goal leading into inspiration weekend.

I also got most of the days off I need to go to Inspiration weekend If I can get out of labor day then I will be off Saturday through Wednesday.

I found roundtrip airfair for $199, woot!

Had a pretty damn cool weekend; saw amazing things.

Then this morning I was just slammed with the loneliest feeling I've had since my divorce 3 years ago. Fucking landmine trigger.


edit... I should add, for the sake of people I saw monday. Has nothing to do with my friends or loved ones. It's the anniversary of my divorce, which although amicable, still reeks of failure, and puts me in a very bitchy mood. Sorry if I snapped at any of you this week.
