SG is second to none in guarding the member information. There is zero way to find people on this site, save by location. If you dont want to be found, set your location to Iran or something. On top of that, people can only search if they have an account, so someone would have to sign up for the site just to look for you. MAYBE something a student would do, but probably not something that someone from the district would do.

Aside from that, the only way to find out would be to see the credit card or bank statement that SG Services was charged to. Seeing as you're on a gift account, thats not going to be an issue.

That makes me feel better. I didn't know only members could search for other members; I thought anyone could do it. Do I think that businesses actively prying into people's semi-private lives is unethical? Absolutely. Is it illegal? No. But I hate the fact that because of my religious beliefs, or the music I prefer to listen to, or my online friend choice, or even the fact that I once had/have an account on a site with adult content (even though I am very much an adult even if I do look 14) can affect my job opportunities just because I posted it for general information about me. I have no issues with people knowing things like that about me until they adversely affect my life; that's why I don't talk about that sort of stuff at work in the first place!

This is what's wrong with the world today. I've had friends lose jobs over a Facebook page or Myspace. People need to lighten up and not use the internet as a background check. Good luck with everything.
