• I found a dead skunk on my front walk way.




Uh, I live in what I guess would be considered a very urban area--mixed zoning and subways and roads and all that shit--but for some reason, we have little woodland creatures all up in our hood. I guess that's kind of quaint in a Country Mouse/City Mouse kind of way, but this week it became absolutely tragic. I found this on in front of our door:



Why on earth a skunk would come to die on my walk way, I have no clue, but I took it as a sign that I'm a bad person.

I wanted to take a photo of the dead skunk, but I had just watched '28 Weeks Later,' and to be perfectly honest, I was highly concerned that I might be dealing with a zombie skunk, so I kept my distance.
