The odd thing was, earlier today I started writing out my old diet plan. Even wrote down "trick foods" lol. And he kinda soured the idea for me. But so did opening the fridge and cupboards to see fishsticks, bread, potatoes, etc etc still left over. So I'm going to power through those foods first before I start. I also don't want to empty the bank account just trying to look good for something that won't happen.
It's shitty enough that my dad forgot his wallet at the store today. Also, he keeps talking to me while I'm playing AC2 and then getting upset that I'm not talking back.....
I want to talk to someone soooo bad right now. But they're not home. Not gonna lie, it's depressing me more than it should. Not really depressing... just longing. Actually, the last week or so, I've been so content. Feeling a little stronger, a little happier, I'm smiling more. But then I'll turn around and cry my eyes out. But it's a good cry in a way.
My emotions are as high as ever but totally different from just a few weeks ago.
I'll stop here.
Just needed to get that out.

Wow, your dad is kind of a dick (no offense), lol. Don't listen to someone like that. Obviously he's not happy with his own life so he has to project his negativity onto you and your husband and get some sort of gratification in putting you down. That is a shame because really, as a father, he should be doing what needs to be done to be a POSITIVE influence and role model and offer positive reinforcement.
It's one thing to try to encourage someone to live a healthier lifestyle because god knows we all really need to do better for ourselves, but for him to actually act that way towards his own daughter is fucked up.
In either case, I've gotten on a healthier kick myself over the last two years and lost a lot of weight, but I don't use that as an opportunity to preach to someone or make them feel bad about themselves. Feeling bad about myself and not having confidence in who I was led me to being the fat kid I was my entire life. Losing weight should be something you come to a decision yourself and really, you should only do it for yourself, not for anyone else just because they make it their mission in life to put you down.
I hope you power your way through this and good luck going forward. If you need someone to talk to and some pointers about trying to make some positive changes, feel free to ask. Otherwise, I won't mention it again
