I agree with Iggy on Oz about your son. If you want to share why he lives with your sister you could share it with Iggy and myself privately, if not we understand. Iggy became a mother a little over a year ago.
As for getting his hair cut, there exists or did a picture of me looking the same way. I wish I could get the pictures of my childhood back but they are either with my step father who could be dead for all I know as it has been 20 years since I spoke to him, or with my sister and after she took my grandmothers wallet and tried to use her ATM card we sort of are not speaking, that was only 20 years ago. The fact she denied it and she was caught on the ATM camera pissed me off, but there was a perscription card in the wallet that my grandmother needed to get her medication was the main problem. It took 2 weeks to get it replaced in during that time if there had not been a caring and understanding pharmacist she could have died. Her meds under the plan cost about 20 bucks, without the plan about a grand.

Oz is so cute!!! Nephew by law, maybe, but he will always be your son. The hardest thing a mother can do in the best interest of her child is to admit she can provide better by letting go. hugs and kisses and well wishes.

He's really your son and also really your sister's and her partner's son if they raise him. You know how it works. Things can be different but equally real. My dear friend of many years recently met his birth mother for the first time since he was a baby, and loves her tremendously. She put him into a home where he had a far better life than she could possibly have given him and he appreciates all that such a choice represents. He has made a success of his life thanks to both of his moms and knows how much love has gone into making that possible. Oz will never even have to wonder about his situation, so he's a lucky little boy.
