so as you may or may not know, Ontario is having a provoncial election on October 10th. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Canadian electoral process, there are many parties, but usually, they are all miles behind the Liberals and the Conservatives , except in Manitoba where the NDP rule all (they're like uber-liberals). the two other major parties are the Bloq Quebecois (only concerned with issues that affect Quebec, and therefore only get votes in Quebec) and the Green party , which is the environmental party.

So the other day, i got a phone call from my local Liberal representative's staff. She announced who she was and asked, "So can Mr. Yassir Naqvi count on your vote come election day?"
I replied, "Sorry, but no. I'm voting Green."
Then she laughed
... laughed!!
She said, "Okay then, have a nice day!" and hung up, still bemused. Apparantly the Liberals consider the Green party to be a joke. If you aren't voting for them, but you aren't voting Conservative either, you're no threat whatsoever.

So if you're voting this election, don't vote for the lesser of two evils (the Liberals) cuz they're kind of condescending assholes. Vote Green , or NDP and give those jerks a good scare!!
