yesterday was a little tiring
my sister was housesitting for her boyfriend of 3 years (who's gone away for his granddad's funeral), and she found incriminating evidence that he was cheating on her (chat logs). she was a mess all day. i tried my best to comfort her, but she was inconsolable. she sent him an email, yelling at him, and by the wee hours of the morning they had patched things up

it just hurt me so much to see her so sad. as i find many people do, she's isolated herself in this relationship, and seeing it crumble, she saw nothing - work and ... nothing. and there was nothing i could do. in the end, even if he isn't innocent, i want to believe he is, so she'll still have that peice of her identity. maybe that makes me a bad sister ...

so i went to bed at 3 am and woke early ... i look and feel like shit ... but now that the caffeine is kicking in, i'm in a pretty good mood. i've decided on a tattoo i want. i've wanted it for years and for some reason always felt like "wouldn't that be awesome" as though i were talking about riding a unicorn or going to the moon, and then last night i realised nothing was stopping me!! my tattoo plan is:
Trill Spots!!
you know, from Star Trek ... anyhoo, i figure as long as i can cover the face tattoos up with concealer (for future job opportunities) then why the hell not? i just need some really good shots of her spots so it can be perfect. i feel kind of excited!



i'm going to get a chance to "bartend" on march 3rd. my husband's boss is having a little soiree at his store for the execs in his company and he needs someone with smart serve to pour wine all night - like me! i get to keep my tips, but i'm not actually getting payed
as long as his boss doesn't drive me home again - drunk ... that was unpleasant!
