I am finally updating my journal, after being a lazy fuck for about six weeks straight.

Summer's rolled by pretty fast this time; I go to London in about ten days, and I'll be there for a short time. I'm hoping to catch as much as I can. If you have suggestions beyond the usual tourist stuff (which I hate doing), let me know.

I ran into my ex recently, and it wasn't pretty. We had parted on kinda ugly terms, and seeing her brought everything back. Then again, half of it was my fault, so I can't really complain.

I just saw 'True Romance' tonight, since I couldn't sleep. That, mixed with ample amounts of Ani di Franco, made it an interesting night. Also saw 'Almost Schmidt'; I've never been as appalled at family life as I have after seeing this movie. Too bad Dave Attell never stopped by; we would have wept together.

SG Lennon is coming into Des Moines on the 14th; I think she's opening for Alice Cooper. Good times.
