The other night I was in the grocery store with a good friend. He said "look at all these people." Such simple words. It took me quite a while before I could comprehend exactly what he meant. He and I strive to make the best out of our lives, trying to achieve our dreams. Every little step we take has a bigger purpose behind it a deeper meaning.

Every person that we came by had a look of dispair slapped across their empty faces. Their faces made me reflect upon exactly what I am doing with my life. I may not yet be anywhere but I sure as hell am going to be ten years from now. This life is far too short to be bogged down with worries of money and security. Why should anyone care about such fleeting things when their dreams are out there waiting?

I am going to live my life to be happy. I hope you will too.

Just recently I have realized how much I enjoy reading. Not reading what I am assigned but the books that I choose for myself. American Theocracy is one that reignites my desire to make a difference and actually try to myself. Strange how a book describing how oil, radical religion and debt are the slippery slope for the united states can make me want to be a better person. That really does not make sense....besides that do not under any circumstances work a grave yard shift and go to school. This could be the best decision you could ever make. Trust me its not worth it no matter the wage you are making.
