Well, after almost a decade off, I am back in school. I get to do most of it online. Just English and Math this semester. Just got done taking my first test too.

Sweet, it's my birthday! And what do I get to do today? Oh, I get to go to work! Awesome! But hey, it could be worse. We no longer have a real holiday party for work anymore. Instead we pick a day and just do a bunch of holiday activities instead of really working. Except no booze! Boooo. But they are having a Guitar Hero competition! haha. So today just happens to be that day.

I think I'll just pretend it's all for my birthday because they love me so much! haha

So next year I am taking a trip. I can go anywhere in the world. Where will I go? Hmmm, I haven't decided. Where shoud I go?

So this was an interesting weekend. Friday was kicked back. I just went home, had a couple drinks and watch The Angels beat up on The Red Sox.

Saturday was the only busy day. Started off by watching the game. Weaver pitched good enough to be tied for the most wins ever to start a career, but our normally sure end of the bull pen faltered and we blew the lead and the game. Good job guys.

Then it was off to El Jeffe Grande Queso's Polynesian Pool Party. I fit right in with my pale ass skin and Guinness trunks! haha Anyway, it was good fun. Blue Hawaiians, grilled Hawaiian chicken and a couple kegs. We all started jumping off the rook of the pool house into the pool. Not bad for a guy who isn't crazy about heights. We kept doing cherry bombs to see who could make the biggest splash. I shit you not, I must have done it about 20 times.

So anyway, 9:00 rolls around and I have to make it out to Burbank for my old music buyer's going away party. I roll in about an hour or so later and run into a bunch of old, current and new co -workers. haha My friend Murray showed up and introduced a new group of people to the world of head in fan. I didn't think he'd do it since it wasn't his house. haha I noticed my leg was feeling sore so I figured I might get a bruise from all that jumping off the roof. After sobering up, I tried to make my way home. It must have been about 3:00am. Bad idea. I wasn't paying as much attention to the freeway signs as I should have because the next thing I knew, I was on PCH in Malibu. Um yeah. So I headed back towards home for a bit, then pulled off into what I felt was a safe residential area and took a nap for a couple hours. Woke up about 6:30 and headed home. Um yeah, scary.

Sunday consisted of me barely being able to get out of bed because my leg hurt so much. I go look in the mirror and holy shit, I have the biggest bruise I have ever had in my life. It's about 10" long and 6" wide. So yeah, I didn't do a thing but watch some movies and then watch The Angels finish off what should have been a sweep of The Red Sox! ;-)

OMG! Coachella was amazing. Ron Dickinson blew me away. (Damn how I miss Catherine Wheel.) Editors were by far my favorite They were soooo good live. Stellastarr* rocked as always. I was even impressed with Daft Punk and Kanye West. Such a great weekend.

Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to pay my bills.


So as my friend Josh and I were sitting down watching Daft Punk, these sunglasses fall right out of the sky and into my lap. Seemed like a Kodack moment to me.

A girl told me that she thought my freckles were sexy at the mall today. haha Bless her heart. That so made my day. It almost makes me miss working in malls. Almost.

Ugh, yesterday sucked ass! It was supposed to be a day off, but there was so much shit to do, I went in. Unfortunately, I was hung over as hell from Taste Of Chaos, I need to realize there is still a limit that should be set when there is free beer.

Oh and note to self. Not a good idea to pick up the old habit of drunk dialing again. Especially not with your straight edge best friend.
