Lets put it this way.

I started seeing little animals living on the pineapple someone gave me.

It was a good party.

about 200 people turned up (i think), 3 bands played as well as loads of people who had a go with a guitar and a song. Not too much damage caused tho some people did trash the bathroom and steal some lights and stuff.
the cops only showed up once and only arrested 3 for 'suspected underaged drinking' but I called their parents and told them they weren't drinking and that the cops were just being assholes (they fuckin were) so they were all let out after less than a half an hour.

One guy drank 2 bottles of whiskey in one go and went apeshit before lapsing into a coma but i reckon his hangover will teach him to cop on..

"just because something might be illegal, doesn't make it unethical. In fact sometimes ethics would dictate that individuals should break the law

Thanks for putting my worldview succinctly into a single sentence.

Could-a been the whisky, might-a been the gin.
Could-a been the three or four six packs, I don't know, But won't you look at the mess I'm in?
A head like a football, I think I'm going to die.
But tell me, a-me oh, me oh my,
Wasn't that a Party?

Someone took a grapefruit, wore it like a hat.
I saw someone under my kitchen table, talking to an old tomcat. They were talking about football. The cat was talking back,
Along about then everything went black.
Wasn't that a party

It sure it's just my memory, Playing tricks on me, but I believe I saw my buddy, Sittin' up in my neighbours tree.

He was singin' a folk song; Sounded pretty good. Woulda sounded better if his wife hadn't made such a racket Choppin' up my neighbor's wood. It coulda been his wood pile.
It mighta been his door.
I know she musta got three or four,
But wasn't that a party?

Bill, and Joe and Tommy, Went a little far.
They were sitting in the front yard, Blowing on the siren, Of somebody's police car.

And so you see, Your Honour,
It was all in fun. That little bitty track meet down on main street, Was just to see if the cops could run. Well they run us down to see you, In an alcoholic haze,
And I sure can use those thirty days.
But wasn't that a party?

I just took my shot right to the door.
Not strange, actually, from the man from Ennis,

Hey, man, long time no talk. Just thought I'd let you know that I'm going to be participating in SWAP Ireland in November, and was planning on travelling around, but my work visa will only be good for the Republic. I'm not sure where you live or haunt, but it's not like I'm going to stay in dublin the entire time, plus I have a friend in England I'm planning to visit anyway. Give me a shout and maybe we can meet.

Akrasia,

Here's the rundown: my friend Annalise and I will be landing in Dublin on the 8th of November. After that it's pretty much my call, and we don't leave til June, at least that's the plan. I will let you know of my plans in more details once I know, but that may not be until I get to ireland.

oh sorry Monastrell, I only just noticed your comment about the 9/11 thread.

To be honest, I hadn't been paying much attention to it because it was started by albion and started off only mentioning the obviously stupid conspiracies and ignoring the real genuine questions about what could have really happened.

I have largely stayed away from this discussion because my knowledge of engineering is limited enough to mean that I would have to rely on trusting the information people give me without the ability to properly test it myself, But a lot of what you were saying in the later pages do seem to make good sense if your sources are accurate

Do you know what this means?

Staropramen 10° 0,5 l 40 Kc

I'm pretty sure Staropramen is a beer, but what do all those numbers mean? If you know, would you please leave a comment in my journal? Thanks!

Weird. Well, if you don't know for sure what it means, I can be pretty sure that random bargoers won't know or care what it means either. And that will make things a lot easier.

I didn't assume. I was hoping. And since it is a menu from Ireland, I thought I'd ask someone from there. Thanks for the info.
