I am a full time student right now, taking healthcare prereqs along with pre-med courses. I am struggling this semester, and Gen. Chem 2 is currently kicking my ass. Last semester, Anatomy and Physiology 1 was much more difficult, and A&P 2 seems to be getting easier; but Gen Chem 1 was a walk in the park compared to this semester. Even my chem instructor tells me that organic chem will be much easier than the class I am currently taking. She doesn't actually teach, but more or less simply makes us get into small groups and figure problems out ourselves and teach each other... Is my instructor just a horrible teacher who is not interested in her students' success? Or is this really the only way to teach this class?
