Hey there all, its me again. So just wanted to say thanks much to everyone who supported my new set! If you haven't checked it out yet here it is...Wait Until Dark.
This year I seriously intend on getting out more sets for your ogling pleasure. I so wish we had a photog in Phoenix. Im lucky to have LA at my disposal but Ive not gotten out there and met enough people yet like I really should.
I did however apply for a Marketing Assistant position with Suicide Girls today!!!! Yey, so excited! Wish me luck. If I did get it I could stick around LA for good.
Anyhow... not much new. Last bout of awesomeness was Vegas trip on New Years.

I met Incubus last week!!!
Ok. Ill start from the beginning. Last week for mothers day we went on a trip to Minnesota to do the Komen Mall of America walk. Since we were planning to be there my guy got me tix to see Incubus for mother's day. We had a good view of the show, the performance was great, and to top it off I got to meet a few of the guys! (BTW incase you didnt know those are Incubus lyrics tattooed down both my sides) So that was all kinds of super awesome. I have some photos of that.
The walk went really well. We actually got to borrow a PR person from the Mall of America who got us two live news interviews, we also made the front page of the Minneapolis newspaper. Excellent reception overall. p.s. for those of you who dont already make sure to "Like" our facebook cause page ChanceforHope.com!
I dont usually fly very well at all but my guy has been really good at helping me get over it, and in order to do so he got us first class tix. Id never flown first class before and swore up and down that a bigger chair wouldnt make a difference at all BUT it actually helped so much! So needless to say hes in trouble now (hes created a first class monster).
We saw "The Avengers" and it was crazy good. Thor=Hotness! In complete contrast we also saw "The Dictator", nothing hot going on there but it had a few funny parts.
So yeah thats about it. Im back in Phoenix. We are representing the cause next week at the Phoenix Comicon, which is always so much fun! Hopefully this year we win Geek Prom king and queen as we rightfully should have last year. The Phoenix Con is so much fun, I actually prefer it over the big SDCC. Phoenix is more about the experience and the fun events and SD is more about all the things to see and buy. Ill be posting pics from both so stay tuned.

YEY!!!!!! I finally got to shoot a new set!!!! I shot with the beautiful and sweet Milloux. I had so much fun. She was sweet enough to include me in her fun photo blog so check it out: Milloux's Blog Heres the preview she posted.

I hope hope hope to be getting my New York trip around my birthday but Im not going to hold my breath.

It has been some time since I last blogged. I have been super busy. Lots of changes and new adaptations going on in my life. Hopefully good things will come of it all.
Been feeling such a major lack of girliness lately. We have been working on remodeling and Im constantly in work clothes and all covered in dust and dirt and paint and yuck! Hopefully we will be done in the next week or so. I so need some girl time, mani pedi here I come!
I think I need a new set. I miss shooting, it is always so much fun. Im out in LA a lot but I dont know anyone here. My boyfriend is really excellent with a camera so I think I might try and talk him into shooting with me (hunny if you see this... pretty pleeeeeeasse *batting my eyes*). So wish me luck with that.

On Tuesday morning I lost my very best friend of over 17 years. Im heartbroken and devastated and shocked and sad and angry. He took a rode trip on his motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet, he lost control of his bike on a curvy back road. He was air-evaced to a hospital but after half a day it was determined that he was not going to make it. Andrew was a wonderful, generous person who even in his death helped people as an organ donor.They kept him on life support while they found matches and I was able to go see him and say a last good-bye. I told him how much I loved him and how much I missed him already and put my fingers through his hair before kissing him on his head. Im so thankful for those last few minutes I had with him.
Andrew was a Marine and he owned a local bar which was where I shot two of my sets "Tap the Keg" and "Cameo Jack." I started Andrew’s Memorial Fund to try and help his 4 year old son he left behind. My birthday is coming up and the only wish I have is to help him and his family out in any way I can, and the best way is through everyones generosity and kindness. If there is anyway at all that any of you can give to this cause that I have started, for a person who was so very dear to me and also a part of our community, it would make my birthday wishes come true.
