i just bought "riot on an empty street" after hearing of them for a long time but never really checking them out. what a fucking awesome, perfectly light cd. half pretty/jazzy, half simon & garfunkel-esque.

One of my first programming assignments in college was to code a random phrase generator that would combine business buzzwords into sentences and then output them to the screen. At the time, we thought the resulting phrases were funny. I now have a strong suspicion that upper management has managed to get their hands on a copy of said program.

Maybe even July. Maybe that is what I will do for my birthday this year.
