Paid the 99 cents per episode to watch the Heroes premiere on demand the next day, more than worth it ;-) I don't have too many thrilling intellectual comments about it, just that I'm excited about the new season. Fringe I was thinking about recording, but I am already boggled by how much TV I'm "not watching" on my DVR. Tell me how it is!

Goldfinger and TV are on hiatus while I work my ass off. The weekend is near... Where are your travels taking you?

I have to go put Heroes on my DVR RIGHT NOW before I miss it again (working tomorrow night, of course), so I might as well add Fringe too and check it out. No Entourage for me, no HBO, but it is pretty funny. I love Jeremy Piven, especially as a slimeball.

Whee! Getting drunk with friends is a nice thing to come home to ;-) Er, I actually got drunk with my parents this weekend at an Italian restaurant in Philly - the place doesn't have a liquor license so they can't sell alcohol, but they can GIVE you as much as they feel like as part of this five course meal. There was a very decent red table wine that they kept refilling, then they set ice cold bottles of liqueur on the table along with dessert - limoncello, limoncello crema, strawberycello, anisette and disaronno. It was fun, my parents know how to enjoy themselves. What kind of work do you do?

Ooh, that is kind of exciting :-) I think it's interesting that a single company makes all the filler stuff for libraries instead of having to buy the furniture piecemeal one by one. It's nice to make things, I like working with my hands. While I was in nursing school I worked at an oil change place.

Well, Cool Hand Luke is almost my fave Paul Newman movie (just watched it last night), it's actually a tie :-D The Long Hot Summer is my other fave, it's one of my girly pleasures, enjoying the chemistry between him and Joanne Woodward. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is not nearly as much fun, I am not an Elizabeth Taylor fan.
