My Set goes up in Member Review in 14 hours! I am pretty excited becuase it was shot so long ago (September last year!) so it will be great to finally share it.

The Set is titled "Flautist" becuase I have played the flute for 17 years, so I wanted to include this. I also wanted it to be very green, becuase that is my favourite colour.

JMP did a great job with the photography andRidley did a great job with the Photoshop. Here are a few preview pic. I hope you like them.

What color is your hair naturally? If it's darker than light brown it will be very difficult to achieve white without a lot of damage.

I used blue-based bleach powder (specifically L'Oreal Quick Blue) and 40volume creme developer. I mixed as directed and then left it on for 40 minutes. You will need a friend to help you with the back of your head, because unlike with dye the bleach has to be applied to every strand. Then I would wash with a color depositing shampoo for platinum hair. This is a shampoo that leaves purple in your hair to get rid of brassy tones. I used Clairol ShimmerLights.

If you don't get the shade you want on the first try, it's very important to wait 1 month before re-applying. This gives your hair time to rest. If your hair is blonde-ish then it should only take one or two applications to get it white.

Thereafter, just bleach the roots every 6 weeks or so.

If you want to try it out before doing your whole head, platinum highlights are super easy. I don't know if any of those products are availbale in the UK but a beauty supply store should be able to help you find similar. Let me know how it turns out!
