Happy Easter all

This past Friday I picked up my schedule for next semester or what we call quarters. Any way here it is:
Monday 1-5 pm Intro to Psychology
Monday 6-10 pm Postmodernism
Tuesday 1-5 pm Ancient World History
Wednesday 1-5pm Layout Design
So there it is. I'm looking forward to all the classes except Layout Design. Since I'm not great with computers, yeah I know hard to believe, I'm always hesitant when it comes to those type of classes. Also last quarter I did very well 2 A's 1 B and 1 C. The C was in History of Western Art 2 very note intensive class. So I will start classes again tomorrow the break went by too fast so there you go ENJOY

I AM FINALLY DONE Today was my last class for the quarter, that's what we call semester at MIU of Art and Design, now 3 weeks of vacation I still have an online test to take and I need to go back out to the building were doing the mural on but I am officially done with school

Once again big happenings on the school front. Especially since that's pretty much my only life. I've re-booted the Comic Book Club at school. No we are not a bunch of geeks that sit around and talk about comics. The purpose of this club is to publish our own comics. Oh yeah I'm president of the club Also my history of photography 1 teacher, who curates her own gallery, told me she loves my paintings and when I finish them, because I will damn it, she will most probably show them at her gallery
Oh and the woman I'm hot for; we finally went out. But, there always a but, we were not alone. Her friend, a guy, came along The worst part was when I asked her out I told her " just you and me". Well that night I got a text asking if a friend could join us. Very begrudgingly I said, or text rather, "not a problem".
We went out to eat and saw the new Underworld movie. I had a good time but it would have been better if this friend hadn't joined us. But I was able to have fun at his expense and she joined in
Also I helped her and her family move. Well me and a few others and yes he was there. After we had dinner and she dropped me off at my car she said I was a great friend. Ladies that not something a guy whose very into you wants to hear I'm just sayin'. As I was walking back to my car I stopped turned and asked her out again; after their apartment gets settled. She said yes and her voice cracked when I called out to her She likes me she really likes me.
You've probably gathered it's been a long time since I had the pleasure of a woman. So with Valentines Day fast approaching were having a club meeting that day and it's also another friends birthday. So were going to use that meeting to celebrate her birthday
My friend Stephanie's Mom is making the cake and I'm going to buy her a box of chocolates. Now you're probably wondering what's this have to do with anything. Well I'll tell you, when I buy the chocolates for Maku I'm also going to buy a box for Valeria. Val's the one I'm hot for. So by doing this I'm not sure what it will accomplish Hopefully she get all warm and fuzzy inside and see that I want to be more than just a great friend So I'll take lots of pictures at the birthday festivities and post them when I can and you'll be able see her and all the rest of my crazy friends

Happy MLK Day everyone. While I agree that we should celebrate his birthday; he was a great man whose works have been tarnished by the conservative party because the country is leaving them behind by having progressive ideas this is how I'll be celebrating my day off.
I will be driving up to Pembroke Pines, from Miami, to pick up a girl, that's really hot and I'm very much in lust with, and then drive back to Miami to a tattoo and piercing shop, GAO Tattoo and Piercing, to get her nose piercing checked out because some how she injured it. Then after that we are going to Piercing Pagoda to see if they have any nose piercings that she likes and will fit her piercing because the one we got at the Pembroke Mall was to small and may have caused the hole to close up a little. So that's how I'll be spending my MLK Day instead of reflect on his legacy, while I paint.

Ok once again big changes have been happening. At school I'm kicking ass I love my school it's the only place that I'm encourage to draw during class. I am no longer the treasurer of the art club but I am the President, as well as the treasurer and secretary, of the Comic Book Club. Basically we want to publish our own comics and have a comic strip in the school news letter but that wont happen for awhile. On January 6 we have the club showcase I've done up some flyers for it and tomorrow I'm going by the school to find out what the school is going to set up for us for the showcase; probably just a table and table cloth.
Today I'm off to a local pizzeria to work on a mural I have no idea what I'll be doing or what it looks like but I'll post pics. I also completed my first oil painting. Every one I've showed it to loves it I'll post the pic I have of it when I'm done typing out this post. Well I hope everyone had a great holiday and I also hope everyone has a great New Year

Ok, I'm back Let me update you with whats been happening in my life. So on October 8th 2008 I had a massive stroke. Yes a stroke and yes I've fully recovered. I'm in school studying fine arts and I'm currently the treasurer for the universities art club. Um what else oh I moved and I have my own studio. Well that pretty much covers it. I guess the one message/warning you can take from this is take care of your health.

I'm pretty sure no one is going to read this, but what the hell, it Saturday morning and I need to start getting ready to go to work. THats right travel 30 minutes to sit at a house that chances are the poeple wont even show up for the appointment they made. Such is the fucking joy of doing affordable housing in an econmicly deprided nieghborhood. I am truely SICK AND TIRED of Miami. I need something new something different something away from my family.
That kind of sounds bad. Perticully coming from someone who puts family above almost everything. Ive read alought of post from all the poeple who live up north and I really want to be in those places.
Some where there is a limited amount of latins ( Yes, I'm Cuban and I'm sick of my own kind and the rest of them)
some place where the seasons change yes Im including winter ad snow and cold. Im sick of the 2 seasons here in Miami Hurricane season and tourist season. And with the Super Bowl here thi year I cant go visit friends out on the beach, traffic and parking are so bad that I've kind of written off this weekend and will prbably stay home except to go to work today and tomorrow, and perhaps to go watch the game at a friends house.
Im rooting fo rthe Bears only because they have Florida Gators on the team, and Indy doesnt. Ok back to venting.
I've gotten sooo sick of this place that all I do is go to work and play WoW sll the time. I've gotten so fed up with this city and the poeple here that Im slowly turning myself into an agroaphobic (afraid to leave your home).
But as I ponder where to go the places seem limited. I could choose a major city but those places are becoming if not as bad or worse then Miami and its cost of living. Yes its getting too damn expensive to live here and no one seems to be concerned about what its doing to the city its self. he poeple who can afford to live sdont care that they're driving the cost of living here higher and higher and forcing the poeple who take care of the things they dont wan to do out of the city and in alought of cases out of the state.
Then that leaves smaller cities and towns but from what Ive been reading the job market in many of these places is in the crapper, contrary to what the President seems to think.
When exactly did THe United States of America go down the toilet and become such a difficult place to live. I know it had to be during the Bush administration but Im curious exactly when. Wrighting this last sentence made my do a quick thought of history. When repbulicans are in control it seems that the rich get richer and the middle class join the poor and the poor well the poor have to anything and everything to survive.
Sigh, the more I write the less I like the city of Miami and the direction the country is headed, and the scarey part is thing can and probavly will get worse. Hmmm I should probably stop before I become soo depressed, well at least there's Saturday morning cartoons maybe they'll help me feel better.
