Busy, busy, busy. It's time to make a career move. The learing curve is steep and the competiton is tough and numerous! I'm takin' bout the art and technology game. I'm working on combining the two to produce flash animations and downloadable games. Yeah, I know it's not a new idea, but it sure is cool.
Flash animation(pro level) is labor intensive and programming flash is another story altogether. I am doing rather well at both, but haven't produced any "oh wow" work yet. It's coming! My animations will be social realistic comentaries, that will speak to the tragedy of world affairs. I hope to provoke thought and maybe change. Anyway, that's what I am hoping to do. It's a fucked up job, but somebody's got to speak the fuck up. Why are humans so intent on murdering one another? Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I got characters to draw and scripts to write.

The spirit of a good artist is seen in the works they create. A good artist isn't defined by superior draftmanship, understanding of color and line, or an expressive brushstroke. Those are virtues and developed technical skills.
When you see the work of a good artist you see the depth of that human's soul. A good artist smacks you in the face with who and what they are with every work they create.
Yes. art requires superior draftmanship ( or, at least good draftmanship), an understanding of color, and the use of line and tactile tools. But, more importantly, Good art requires seering passion. All the technically precise drawing and painting in the world cannot outshine the true expression of one's soul.
A good artist has to have the balls to create works that represent who and what they really are. Fuck the critics! Real art is an expression of one's soul.
Amen.
