Said in a previous post that I'm not good at this (blogging), I just never know what to put. But here I go & try again...

Work has been insanely crazy busy since last May and there have been several time where I was putting in 60 to 70 hours. No more please, it takes to long to recover. I am about half way through another class for the certificate I am working on from UC Berekeley. This class has been kind of fun and definitely less stressful than the others. Once this class is over, I'll be about half done with the program.

Last week I traveled to Florida and went to Disney World with my roommate and a couple of friends. It was OK, I'll take the two parks here in CA over Florida from the overall experience.

I saw today on Radeo's IG that her and a couple other SG's will be in SF in a couple of weeks for a book signing tour and I am looking forward to going up there. It is Tuesday March 26th at Mission Comics & Art from 7 to 9 PM. There will also be an after party at Benders at 9:30 PM. This will be the SG event i will have attended.

Ok, so I know it's been a while since I last posted, but to be far, once upon a time I did say I wasn't very good at blogging...
I finished my second class since going back to school back in May, taking my final was interesting as I had to do it while I was on vacation in Hawaii. When all was said and done, I honestly thought I would have to retake the class, so it was a big surprise when I received my grade at the end of June and saw I earned a "B"!!!
In other news, i also do some event photography and in the end of June, I had a blast photographing a Baseball Jamboree for a group of Challanged Kids!

Adding to my list of life changes:
5) Bought a new bed frame and Sleep # mattress (I am currently rearranging all the furniture in my room)

As the battery on my iPad is about to die, that's it for now...

So earlier this year, I went back to school, it has been over 12 years since I first attended college. I entered into a program designed for individuals who have a degree in Engineering (not required) and its been a struggle. So, I finished my first class at US Berkeley Extension and to my pleasant surprise, received a B! I have already started the second class and its going to be a huge struggle and a bigger challenge, will see how it turns out come May...

To continue my list of life changes:
3 - Saving Money (again)
4 - Disposed of my bed set that I have had for 20 years and bought a new frame. Still need to get the rest of the bedroom furniture.

When I made the decision to start making changes to my life, I knew that not everything could happen at once. Change is best felt over time to avoid being overwhelming...

I've never really blogged before as its never really interested me to do so, which is why this is my first one after being a member on SG for almost 8 months now. On a side note however, I am guilty of reading and keeping up with other people's blogs. The whole point of this is that I wanted to make some changes to my life, be small or large and starting a blog here is a change in my life.

Changes Made so far in 2012:
1 - Went back to school (I'm attending UC Berkeley Extension)
2 - Started a blog

It might be fun to look back at this and see what I've added to my list of changes as the year progresses...
