Yeeeaahh... if you don't light well enough you run the risk of missing all the glorious details. And there's that blemish factor. Brightened skin is easier to photoshop, too. Just lower the brightness on your monitor

I get the skin imperfections part. But many times I see several sets from a person and the ones that aren't over lit in they have wonderful skin. And it makes it hard to see all that wonderful ink so many have. And I think imperfections add character. For the people that want a air brushed barbie doll, they should look at a playboy. Give me the interesting imperfections and the beautiful ink ty
