For the three people who read my blogs.
The time has come, tomorrow I start production of my Film 2. It's the capstone of my time in school. I've given up my spring break to shoot this. I have a great crew and I'm excited.
On related news, I only have two months left of school and then the choices get a little more difficult. Where to work, do I move to LA or NY? I hope that works itself out for the best possible outcome.
So please wish me luck and I'll talk to you soon.
By the way, pictures coming soon

Hi all!
(To the 2 people who actually stop to read my blog)
I'm excited to announce that I am the producer for my film 2 for school in March. Now I need your help.
"Home" is a survival/horror about two brothers David(20) and Fred(13) who are trying to not only stay together but survive the events after they stumble into a house looking for supplies to survive this post-apocalyptic world.

I had a great weekend. I shot a makeshift music video and got to practice on a borrowed 5D Mark III.
These are the pics I got.

I'm looking for some free time and someone to take pictures of, any takers?

It seems that only every few months I post a new blog, I need to get better at this.
Firstly, happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate it. I personally believe that we should be thankful every day for everything in our lives. When I'm challenged I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn something new.
Secondly, If there are any actors or actresses out there in the Chicago land area please let me know if you'd be interested in some unpaid student film opportunities. I'm currently in a Producing for Film & Broadcast program at Tribeca Flashpoint Academy and between directing exercises, music videos, and film 2's we'll be holding auditions.
That's all for now.
Thanks for reading.

So, I'm about to go into production with 5 projects shot back to back. I'm still looking for some actors, male and female. If you know anyone or would be interested please pm me.
I'm back! I've taken a bit of time away but now I'm back.
I'm excited to say that I have a new entry for the 48 Hour Film Project in the works. That is leading me to shoot some commercials and a pair of music videos. I'm excited to launch my career as a producer. It's a bit scary and the work is daunting but I'm confident it'll be a learning experience.

Wow, 2008 was quite possibly the worst year of my life and that's saying a lot! I'm glad it's over. In retrospect,I learned a lot about myself and life this year.
I officially am no longer a Realtor and after tonight I might not be working at the bar anymore either. It kinda really sucks. I worked hard in real estate but the market just wasn't there. At the bar though, I got screwed and after eight years working for the owner I'm pissed that it's ending this way.
On the bright side though, how many of us get to start the new year with a clean slate. A new blank canvas if you will. I have a feeling that I'm going to create my masterpiece in '09.
I don't really make resolutions; I set goals. I guess they're the same thing or at least a similar idea. In '09 I will get the job I want and need; go back to finish my degree, it's been a long time coming; finish my book and screenplay, been working on them for years now; get at least six tattoos that I've been wanting for a good while; visit Lebanon, Spain, and Scotland; finish my second book after that trip; get the truck that I want, it's a 4Runner; get the Cannon 5D I covet; and if I find the girl I don't know exists, huge bonus.
I don't really know why I decided to share, maybe because then it's a matter of record, but I did.
On that note, I wish you all an incredibly happy new year! May the saddest days be behind you and happiness be bountiful in your life! Be well.

So, I've been thinking, talking about, and planning what I have come to call my next or latest "disaster". It's what I call any artistic project I undertake. Normally my projects are photographs, videos, drawings, or writings. This time it was a painting. My first painting in fact. So here is how it evolved.

I'm already planning my next project. Actually, I'm working on what the next few paintings, photo sets, and videos are going to be. Well, here it is and I hope you enjoy it and it wasn't a waste of your time to look it over.

So a pair of months back I entered the 48 hour Film Project and this was the outcome. All teams got the same character, line of dialogue, and prop. Then we all picked a genre out of a hat.
The character was Walter or Wilma Western Repair Person
The prop was an urn with ashes representing a deceased...
The line of dialogue was, "What's the password?"
And we picked Romance out of the hat.
It was someone else's project that I was invited to come on board to help. While I'm pleased with the result, look for a re-edit soon.
