i'm a director in chicago.

its interesting to watch theater after you've been directing for awhile. in other words, when do you turn your analyzing function off when you'd like to enjoy a night of theatrical arts? maybe you don't. or maybe you do and completely free yourself in the darkness of that theater cause no one else knows you're a Director.

i'm transitioning into more film projects in chicago.

there's a huge difference. the camera is the eye. the end product is something on screen vs. a real, live breathing human in front of other humans. there are special effects from a post production vs. props/tech/lighting and costumes. its refined and edited together piece by piece vs. live action and the chance for failure in front of raw eyes. don't get me wrong though - film is amazing. its a gift of storytelling that can carry eyes thru various lands in instances. it conveys relating emotion by a frickin screen!

i'm always learning film and theater in chicago.

there's a plethora of institutions here in the midwest mecca. but is it right???
