I started my first day at a new job today. I began an internship at HRC today, the nation's largest LGBT organization in the nation. Not only am I honored to be part of an organization like HRC, but I think I will really enjoy the job they have me doing as well.

I even enjoyed my commute, because I avoided notorious D.C. traffic by taking the district's metro rail system the majority of the way.

Finishing up another semester. Also leaving military service. Really exciting time right now... More on this soon....

Okay, a quick update, because I havent updated since, like, august. Great weekend, went to the National equality march. It was moving. The event was everything that I wish that 'Pride' was. I got to meet see Cleve Jones speak at a small workshop the day prior. Amazing.

The weekend before, I ran a 10-Mile race in D.C. It was a great race and I made a new personal record for 10 miles.

In week 5 of the semester and things are going well, picked up a late semester class this week. math. Eff. I am really scared of being dumb.

I just wanted to let you know that it is okay that you think Jefree Star is sexy.

Things are well. Still buried in homework, but I am doing my best to make time for the things I love. I had a real epiphany about summertime and how important it is, so I have been doing my best to get outside and enjoy it, despite working and taking summer classes.

I love this website, I am suprised that I don't spend more time on it. I think that I would appreciate it more if I met more kids from the site... maybe from the DC or Charm City groups. *hint to any readers*

Things are generally well though, I know I have said this before, but I am going to update more regularly. Hope everyone is doing well.

ALSO: Hey, some of the best sets I have seen in a while are posted on the PSW group. For those of you who haven't already, check it out. For those of you who posted the sets; Wow. Well done.

I decided in this last week that I am not focusing enough on the things that I love.

I think a lot of students realize this in school. Too often it seems like the reason that a lot of people drop out. Being a non-traditional student and working full time for the man, it doesn’t surprise me that this came in my mid twenties rather than my early twenties. I work about 50 hours a week and take 3 classes a semester. I want to be a much better drummer. I want to be a much better photographer. I am improving at both, but much too slowly for my liking. I wish I had more time to paint too, its a pretty time intense hobby.

Don't get me wrong, I love the material that I am studying for school. I just wish I had more time for the things that I really love to do.

So, my solution, I am just going to have to make more time to do these things. Drumming makes me happier than the hour I waste each day looking at smut. Photography makes me much happier than an extra hour or two at the bar. I am going to make these things that make me happy real priorities.

I’m pretty excited about it too.

New tattoo today. I got the last open area on my arm filled in. Next appointment is just filler to bring it all together. awesome.

I took a week off of work recently and grew a bit of stubble.... it itched like crazy so I got rid of it.

Spring is here and it is wonderful. Also, april is poetry month.
