i am trying to figure out why i am so attracted to sg...and i dont have 1 tat or 1 pirercing...

but what it is really is that the people here are so into style....whatever their style is..it doesent matter..they just express it..and themselves...creatively...

i don't really mean that comment to be frivolous...i just like the honesty about open sexuality..i tend to agree with freud that sexuality is very key to all we do...

it's wierd having been around a while...and having been around the block a couple of times...because anytime anyone says something or talks about something they have done...it seems like i've either done the same thing at one point or something close...or at least knew someone who did it. only thing is..i'm a little out of touch with new bands...like ones that are a couple of years old...just know old ones pretty much..only a handful of new artists..i guess i have to get out more.. ...funny, my 14 year old son mostly listens to like ramones or offspring or sex pistols or whatever..old music too..i guess he's out of too...

went to see joan jett sunday nite at irving plaza..went with my wife..had fun ..it was gr8 seeing joan again...i remember the fun i had hanging out with her on sunset in the day. she still rocks..better than ever imo...work was hard on monday, but it was worth the trip...later

i'm here for a few days...soon to recede into skulking anonymity again...for personal reasons.

ok...time to update. teaching high school kids is deeply rwarding on a personal level. especially the content that i cover teaching visual arts. what i always keep in mind is that i am simply teaching methods and techniques..not creativity. they have unmeasurable amounts of creative energy, they just need to learn how to use tools and what steps to take to express it...today i stayed 2 and 1/2 hours after school to help a fashion student sew her dress together...a dress she designed and created the pattern for.and is now being stiched together...she just needed to learn a few techniques and be shown how to use the tools, thread the machine as it were...now seeing the product of her imagination materialize with the work of her own hands...what a deep pleasure....so real and so beautiful.

ok..back to reality...work eat sleep....i' already thinking about summer...
