Ok so I have been thinking. I may as well just drop the whole story since only a couple people(maybe that many) people read my blog on here.

So I was married for about 3 years, was with my wife before that for quite awhile. A total of 10 years is what we spent together and like right after we got married our sex life went down the tubes. I could never really figure out what was wrong with me or what I was doing wrong, until after a little while. I realized the problem wasn't me but it was my wife rather who actually like the ladies a hell of a lot more than guys. When I approached her about it she totally denied it until one night when we spent all night sitting up and talking and I finally said that what we had going wasn't working and that I still thought she was a lesbian. At that point she came out to me.

Now the moral of my story here isn't to tell everyone a detail of my life that is rather personal but instead to get a point out. My best friend and I, formerly my wife, have been spending a lot of time watching Showtime's "The L Word" and in season one there is this girl who is head over heels for her boyfriend unti along comes this hottie who sweeps her off her feet and she falls in love with her. The only problem is the whole thing is tearing her apart because she doesn't want to hurt her man.

OK BACK TO THE MORAL OF THE STORY.....

The moral of my story is: Ladies, if you are gay and you are in a hetero relationship, no matter how long you have been together, it wil lbe a lot less painful for everyone if you just come clean rather than worrying about your mans feelings. The sooner you get it out there the sooner everyone will be able to be happy and move on.

and yes...my life does play out like a movie(as fucked up, but happy as it is).

So I am dumb. I shoudl be sleeping because I am way sick and have a temperature over 100 but I can't sleep for the life of me. I have been getting scolded the past couple days for something I did over the weekend by my best friend and she told her other best friend and this weekend when we go out I am going to get laid into by her as well. I won't go into details as to what it was that I did but ultimately it resulted in the current state of sickness that I am in and frankly this sucks.

On my way home I had to pull over twice, the first so I could projectile vomit into the weeds. The second so I could dry heave and you know how fun that is. I was hoping the whole time that a cop didn't pull over because their first reaction when someone is throwing up is that they are drunk, which is totally not the case, I must have the flu or something.

Ok enough about my sickness, because I am sure people love reading about how people are yacking roadside. Going into get my tattoo on my right forearm finished up soon. It's been forever since I was last in because Cactus Tattoo is so in demand that they have lik a month long waiting list but even then you can't get a nice chunk of time slotted off and when I did, they had to reschedule for some reason. This weekend we will be going out for my best friends, friends birthday in the lovely mankato bar scene. Tis always a funtime if you don't mind hanging around with a lot of college kids that are smashed by the time they reach the bar.

Recently I have gotten back into the local Minneapolis club scene. I have always been into electronic music and frankly it has been pulsing through my veins since sometime back in middle school. I have been performing at raves and clubs since I was about 14 years old and the entire scene is engrained in everything I do. It has been really nice getting out and seeing a lot of old faces and hanging out with people I haven't seen for awhile. I should probably be able to score some more gigs now as well since people are beginning to realize that I didn't die I just disappeared for a little while. Things look to be heating up for me a bit this year with a show already scheduled for later in the year in Chicago that is set to be one of the biggest happy hardcore shows in the midwest as well as what appears to be a spot at a major outdoor weekend party(aka rave) in eastern wisconsin. Looks like my bro and I might be obtaining a couple local clubs gigs as well so keep an eye out for NATO(my bro), MC Obliquity(me) and possibly WTF(me as well doing hardcore on gameboy and some weird eletronic toys).

Well I am off to try and sleep.

Went in to get my new tattoo Saturday. It is going to cover up the Apple on my arm(it was too small and took up a nice large chunk of fleshy canvas). So I drew up a new tattoo a month or so ago that kind of sums up some simple things:

A. Live Life, a couple banners above and below the main design exclaim this loud and proud. It's a simple two word sentence that has a lot of power, at least for me. Sometimes I need to step back for a second and remember to Live my Life, to go out and have as much fun as possible and do anything that I want to do.

B. The main part of the tattoo has a decapitated bunny head with cross bones behind it. The Bunny is something that I draw a lot of. The fact that the head is decpitated and bloddy doesn't make him less cute. But at the same time it reminds me not to end up like him. Don't let yourself just sit around and rot when there is so much for you to get out and do. At the same time he reminds me of the fun that is out there, and how much fun it is for me to continue to do the art that I do.

So I took the initial drawing over to Rob Foster at Cactus Tattoo in Mankato for him to come up with his own take on the drawing and what he came up with was amazing. A bit more gruesome than my initial sketch but a very good interpretation into Tattoo art. After a nearly 4 hours sitting on Saturday we knocked of a good chunk of the work and this is how far we got:

So yesterday after getting home from a weekend of hanging out at the club and dancing my ass off, Squeekker and I decided to rent some movies and just settle in. So we hit the local video store, did the normal wander through and pointed out movies that looked interesting that we could pick from. As odd as it was, Squeekker picked up a movie in a rather plain looking case. It was the only copy of this particular DVD in the place but for whatever reason she stopped for a moment, read the back to me briefly and instantly I said, let's get it. So we picked up that dvd and grabbed another one that we had been eyeing on the way out.

The dvd that we just had to get was "Imagine Me &You", a british film that stars Piper Paraboe(of Coyote Ugly fame). From what I know the film wasn't that big here in the states, and I had never heard of it until she picked it up. But whats crazy about it is that it's more or less the tale of mine and Squeekkers lives in the past couple years. The main guy in the movie shares the exact same story with me and it's just totally insane. I found myself giving the guy advice halfway through the film because I knew what was going on in his life when he didn't and I could see what laid ahead for him because it's where I currently am.

I don't want to post the whole story line out here for everyone to read because I would rather have those of you that read this(all 2 of you), to go out and rent the movie. It was good enough for both Squeekker and I to run out and each buy a copy. If you would like to see the trailer you can check it out here: Imagine Me & You Homepage

So recently I have started to get back to my roots. By roots I mean doing art. My dad has been an artist for a really long time. Some of his artwork is part of rock and roll history as he lived with the grateful dead back in the 60's on the corner of Haight/Ashbury. He had the opportunity to hang out with many of the big bands/artists of the day and that gave him the opportunity to do a lot of posters for the many concerts in the San Fran area. After he moved back to Minnesota, he and some buddies owned the premier rock and roll club in Minneapolis, the Labour Temple. He ended up doing most of the posters for the bands that rolled through town including The Grateful Dead, The Who, Jefferson Airplane etc. Well he continued on after that to go to art school and then later worked in advertising. His real passion is wildlife art and he does some absolutely amazing and lifelike work that blows my mind everytime I see it, he is my hero.

So for the longest time I didn't do any art even though throughout my years in elementary school, middle school and highschool teachers had always praised me for the work that I did(sometimes I wasn't sure if it was that I was doing good work or if it was because they knew my dads work). But in the past couple years I have had some life changing events and have realized how much I enjoy doing art. One of the things that I am really passionate about is Designer Vinyl Toys. Basically all these artists, some famous and some not famous until after they make a toy, are doing these incredible works of art in the form of vinyl toys. And I am really digging this media, it provides a 3d canvas that really offers a new perspective on things.

So last night I decided to get crackin' on a small painting to accompany a custom dunny(see www.kidrobot.com) that I am doing as a trade with someone. Click the spoiler for the picture:

Pictures of the toy to come after it is finished. Hope you dig the painting for now.

Annnnnd.... I'M BACK!

Had a short little stint of no Suicide girls there and I realized that I miss this place so I joined back up. So as it goes, I have another Tattoo lined up for April 7th. My right forearm will be adorned with a collaboration piece that I drew up and Cactus Tattoo(owned by the infamous Megan Hoogland) artist Rob Foster has added his own little touches to bring my drawing to life even more. I will post pictures when it gets started, this shoudl be rather interesting.

Hmm besides that, not much going on here. Hopefully my lazy ass will post things on here more often this time around.

Holy long F'ing time since my last post! So anyhow. As I was driving my extra long drive to work like I do everyday I got stuck behind a McDonalds Semi-truck with a giant ad for some new McFlurry flavor. My question is this: If you were offered a Blizzard from DQ or a McFlurry from McDonalds which one would you take? I mean WTF is a McFlurry? So some jackass is sitting there in the McDonalds board room and tosses out this great idea for McDonalds hot creation of Ice Cream and candy blended together,
First Jackass in Board Room: "I've got it jeeves! Let's call it the Flurry!!!!"
Second Jackass in Board Room(Jeeves): "We need to put some umph in the name, think guys think."
Third Jackass in Board Room: "OH MAN! LET'S CALL IT THE MC-FLURRY!"
Second Jackass: "I think you've got it! That's way better than "the blizzard""

It's like what the hell? Blizzard is a winter storm with ass loads of snow, that would paint the picture of a cup chock full of ice cream. Then there is a Flurry, not even a storm, it's like five fucking snow flakes falling from the sky, mmmm I have a cup that has a little bit of ice cream in the bottom. OH DAMN, McDonalds your marketing always seems so genius, *COUGH*i'm lovin' it*COUGH*

In other news.....

I got my Tattoo finished a handful of weeks ago and it looks great. If you are in Minnesota I highly recommend going to Cactus Tattoo in Mankato, they never cease to amaze. I also created a new profile on myspace for a side music project I have been working on for over a year. I go by the name WTF, it's mostly Hardcore Techno and Breakcore the catch is that it's created mostly on a Nintendo Gameboy and/or DS Lite. Check out my new page at WTF With that said, head on over there, check it out, perform a friend request and get your ears fucked by the sounds of me mad

I got tattooed not all that long ago, of which I will have to take a picure or two and post them up here. My wife also got tattooed and I am sure she will post pictures as necessary. We shoudl both be getting them finished by the beginning of June.

I was also chatting with a friend today via IRC and mentioned that I had an idea to start a website to sell various things made by my wife and I(I have a yearning to make swank couture style tee's). But my friend mentioned that her and her sister have been thinking about the same thing and that maybe we should all do it together. Now I just have to get a hold of some favorable tee's that i can mess with.

I had a performance in Chicago Last weekend that was a blast. I like the Chicago rave crowd as they always seem to be friendly. They had an odd vibe though to where they would be going nuts one second, then wander off for like 15 minutes and then come back to the room and start going crazy again. All in all though I can't wait to get booked in Chicago again.

I have a week long vacation coming up in a couple weeks that is well beyond needed. We havent been on a proper vacation since about june of 2004. With all the things that have happened in my life in the past year it's suprising that I havent completely lost it. We will be spending a week on the north shore of Lake Superior in the Sawtooth Mountain Range at:

So as of recently my wife and I have turned into potty mouths and I am thoroughly convinced that its due to the bad influence of watching the Suicide Girls video(probably has something to do with Stormy). Isn't it great though? hehe I am not saying this is a bad thing, its more fun than anything else. I just have to keep myself in check and make sure to not call the next person that I have to help with a "power switch problem" a dumbass because they cant figure out how to turn a printer on(fun with IT). wink
