The "INKED SUICIDEGIRL OF THE YEAR CONTEST" ("Contest") entries start at (9AM) on April 02, 2012 and ends at (11:59PM) on August 31, 2012 ("Entry Period"). The sponsor of this contest is SG Services, Inc., 5927 Franklin Blvd., Suite B, Los Angeles, CA 90028 and Quadra Media LLC., publishers of Inked Girls Magazine,12 West 27th St, 10th Floor, New York, New York 10001 ("Sponsor"). The contest shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants acknowledge that they have read these Official Rules and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein.
ELIGIBILITY: THE contest IS OPEN ONLY TO WOMEN, WHO AS OF THE DATE OF THEIR ENTRY INTO THE contest ARE EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. Employees of the Sponsors, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, related companies and agencies (all collectively to be referred to herein as the "Promotion Parties"), and their immediate families (defined as parents, grandparents, children, siblings and spouse and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in the household of same, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. By entering this contest, entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules. All Federal, state and local rules and regulations apply. Void outside the Eligibility Area and where prohibited or restricted by law.
HOW TO ENTER THE contest: To enter the contest fill out the application form located at http://suicidegirls.com/model/ and note "Inked SuicideGirl" in the "referred by" field during the Entry Period. Follow the directions for entry in the contest; providing your first and last names, street address, city, state, zip code, date of birth, daytime phone number and email address. Once you have completed the entry process, hit "Apply" to submit your completed entry ("Entry").
Existing SuicideGirls are eligible for entry, they must e-mail modelcoordinator@suicidegirls.com with the subject "Inked SuicideGirl of the Year" The e-mail must contain full first and last name, SG name, email address, DOB, how many tattoos they have, and three (3) photos to constitute an ("Entry").
ONLY ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON, HOUSEHOLD ADDRESS AND/OR EMAIL ADDRESS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS contest.
By participating in the contest, entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Promotion Parties and all their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees (collectively, "Released Parties") from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or non use of any prize or parts thereof that may be awarded including, without limitation, claims, suits, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light (whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. Winner releases the Released Parties from any and all liability and responsibility with respect to a prize (including any property loss, damage, personal injury or death).
Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate Entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer or internet device relating to or resulting from participation in this contest; inability to connect to any web page including but not limited to the Entry Site, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of Entries; Entries that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer, internet access device or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or on any web site and/or telephone lines; printing or other typographical error in any contest related materials; and any Entries which are processed, reported or transmitted late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, undelivered, mutilated, illegible, garbled, fail to enter into the processing system, or any combination thereof; or theft or destruction or corruption of Entries. Proof of submitting an Entry is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. Illegible, Ineligible, incomplete and duplicate Entries will be disqualified. All Entries become property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. False and/or deceptive Entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible.
Any entry information collected from the contest shall be used only in a manner consistent with these Official Rules, any consent given at time of Entry and the Sponsor's Privacy Policy accessible at the Entry Site.
WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected by the editors of Inked Girls and Missy Suicide from among the pool of finalists on or about October 1st, 2012. Decisions of Sponsor are and shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this contest. Winner will be notified by via e-mail within ten (10) days of selection.
Failure to respond to the winner notification as detailed above or comply with any other provision herein may result in the winner being disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor's sole discretion. If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable for any reason, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner at Sponsor's sole discretion. Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash. No substitution for a prize by the prize winner will be allowed. If necessary, due to unavailability of a prize or part thereof for any reason, a prize of comparable value will be awarded at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
All Federal, state and local tax liabilities, if any, are the responsibility of the winners. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for Sponsor and/or its affiliates to use of winner's name, statements, photograph, image and biography for publicity purposes without any limitation or additional compensation.
PRIZES:
(1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a contract for 5 nude photo shoots with SuicideGirls, that will take place over the course of 1 year and prize money will be issued in 5 payments of $2,000 each. To be completed by October 31st, 2013. Winner must have proper travel documents and be available to attend promotional events and conventions throughout 2013 in order to claim that portion of the prize. Winner will be featured on the cover of Inked Girl magazine during calendar year 2013 and hotel for 2 nights, airfare plus $500.00 in spending money.
Sizes, styles and specifics of all prizes to be awarded is at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Prizes are non-transferable, assignable and have no cash value. No prize substitution or cash redemption allowed by a winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of comparable value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes may not be sold, bartered or exchanged by winners. Prizes are provided "as is" and without any warranty of any kind. The odds of winning a prize are determined by the total number of eligible Entries received. The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in the contest is $11,500.
LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY: Released Parties shall not be liable to winner or any other person for failure to supply the Grand Prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Released Parties' sole control.
GENERAL: If for any reason this contest is not capable of running as planned, or if this contest (or any portion(s) thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of the contest and processing of Entries in accordance with these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor's sole opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this contest, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this contest or any portion thereof. In the event this contest is cancelled, and if possible, the Sponsor will conduct a random drawing to award the prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE contest IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If a dispute arises about who submitted an Entry the Entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address entered at the time of Entry. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider. The winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning Entry and that all eligibility requirements are met.
The use of any device or software to automate the Entry process is prohibited.
