Who is ready for some Hell City?!
I am getting a little nostalgic so I went through some photos of all of the past Hell City's I have attended. This will be my 5th one! Holy crapola!
In 2009, I went without knowing anyone. I was so nervous! What if no one likes me, what if I don't like them, etc. etc. etc. Lucky for me all of my fears were whisked away, as soon as I got into the exhibit hall at the Arizona Biltmore I was at home.

I also shot my first set with a staff photographer!

Lucky for me that photographer was Alissa! It was the start of a stupid awesome relationship.
Next up, was Killumbus 2010. I stayed with Calamity. She also tattooed my foot at the convention. I like to say I popped her convention cherry, because I was the first person she tattooed that weekend!


Larry Bone also began my jellyfish that weekend.

On this trip I had the honor of meeting Cherry and shooting with her!

Cherry is a total sweetheart who creates art as soon as she snaps that shutter closed.
In 2011, I went back to Phoenix. This time with a new found confidence and a buttload of friends!

No new ink happened this time, but I was able to combine forces with Cherry again!

Last year, Killumbus again! I stayed with Yesenia. Love that lady!


I also took some photos with my Canadian cuddlebug and bum twin Glitch!



So, what's in store for this year? Sets? Tattoos? Only time will tell. Can you tell I'm psyched?!

If you are in the Columbus area you really should stop by, if you can't tell by the photos it really is an amazing time! Not to mention Friday night is the screening of the official Hell City documentary!

Guess who is back! I had a wonderful time on my honeymoon, and will now share with you more photos than you probably care to see.

Even though we are probably the most non-traditional people ever I think I pulled off the whole "bride" bit pretty well.

We did a little photo-shoot of the getting ready process with the bridesmaids. This is a photo of my maid of honor and me being adorable.


After the big day we escaped to my favorite place in the world, Belize. We are hoping to move there within the next 10 years. It would be great for any type of research I want to do, and the husband guy likes it ok as well
I will spoiler the photos since there are so many!

And now let's talk about my newest set in Member Review! It is a very special set to both Alissa and me. Our favorite band The Impossibles had a reunion show in Austin last summer for the first time in 10 years! At that point we realized that our love of The Impossibles needed to be celebrated with boobies. Hence, this...

The name of the set is from the song "Erin with an E"

This recording is from the reunion show that Alissa actually worked on!

So I am a married lady now!
I climbed a tree in my wedding dress!


Subsequently, I will be on my honeymoon when my next set hits MR. Keep those beautiful eyes peeled!

How were everyone's holidays? I know, I know I'm a little late on this one!


I had a whirlwind of a Holiday season!

My friends look so upstanding in this photo. Don't be fooled!

I had originally bought the dress for our engagement party. I never knew how many parties actually went into getting married! I feel pretty loved.
My fiancé just graduated so we had an engagement/graduation/taco party extravaganza.


Every party we have had things tend to get a little crazy towards the end of the night.
My future in-laws threw us a Mad Hatter themed couples shower, which was badass to say the least.


Aaaand we ended up jumping into the bayou. We are trying so hard to be adults, but kind of failing at it.

Next we road tripped up to see my family.

So my travels are pretty much halted for now, at least until after the wedding (March 22nd ). After that Hell City Columbus is on the horizon and then who knows!!

Oh how time flies! Next week I will be 26, next month will be my 5 year anniversary as an SG, and next year I will become a married lady! So much is happening in Wit land.

Oh man, oh man where did I last leave you guys? This once a month blog thing just isn't working, I now have too much to say! I guess the best thing to do is start with the beginning of October.
On October 1st we went to the "beach", or basically the muddy kind of unsettling waters of the Mississippi gulf coast.


My fiancé is in a Misfits tribute band during the month of October so a lot of brain-eating happened.


I have been taking a 3hour class on Saturday mornings from 8-11am. It is pretty much the most tortuous experience in my life. This is me most Saturday mornings:

To break up the monotony that has become my weekends I decided to hightail it to Austin for wizard world, a SG party, and to hang out with some of my favorite people.

Did I mention I stayed with the fucking amazing Apollo. Pardon the drunk post party photo, but I think I smell a multi on the horizon.

The morning after the party I was hurting just a little bit.


I wasn't hurting too bad because later in the day I was able to perv on Alissa shooting the awesome Namaste. Can I just say that hot things are in your member review future.

Then it was my turn to be the model in a set that Alissa and I have been planning since Hell City.


Then it was time to go home, which was bitter sweet.

My life pretty much returned to normal.

Well I survived yet another hurricane! It was pretty bad. The storm itself was so slow moving it stayed over us for what felt like an entire day. I went and stayed at my parents house, which is about 200years old. I thought that if it has survived all of the hurricanes the past 200 years we were pretty safe. Though being in a wood frame house with winds up to 80mph is a little disconcerting. The entire house seemed to shift back and forth. Then 90% of New Orleans and the surrounding area were left without power. It was pretty terrible living without for it for 5 days, but I consider myself lucky because things could have been so much worse.




A generator and fans did nothing to touch this New Orleans heat.

A lot of card games were played and tensions were high.

Headlamps were worn
Then on Sunday the power was restored. We were all very thankful. The animals especially.



Life has gotten back to normal now. I'm working and schooling and being exhausted, but at least I've got the comfort of power.

So, in case you live under a rock this is happening right now...

which is a little disconcerting because this

happens to my street when it rains. Oh and by the way that is a levee in the background.
Hurricane Isaac is scheduled to make land fall on the day that Katrina hit 7 years ago. I can't believe it has been that long. That was the day I was suppose to start college, but instead it set forth a whirlwind of experiences that changed my life forever. Needless to say I'm more than a little nervous about it.

In other news, I am collecting knick knacks and bric a brac (what an awesome combo of words) for the decorating of my wedding festivities.

If anyone out there has patchwork quilts, picnic baskets, or birdcages that they want to get rid of please PM me!
