I guess winter wasn't entirely over... last week we had a snowpocalypse! The low temperatures broke all sorts of records in Victoria and across the island. Granted, not Quebec Ice Storm '98 lows, but still! -6 Celsius in late February is really freaky for Victoria.

We've had several boomerang episodes this winter. Temperatures in the 70's, followed by a foot of snow and -30 F wind chills for a few days, then climbing back to the 70's. You'd think that 70's in winter would be nice, but it makes the cold spells really kick yer ass.
