I have 4 white hairs in my bangs! I hated them at first but i've gotten attached to them. I realised this the day Mum went "Oo, you've got a grey hair" and pulled out what was the 5th one. You ain't getting old 
Maybe you've been stressed? Mine appeared literally the day after quite a massively stressful and upsetting event.

At least you're being creative with your job! I'm just sitting around writing papers about things I don't really give a shit about. This will all change after the summer, because I'm SO done with boring academics.
