I just bought a car! I really needed a newer car, mine was literally falling apart. I sent off my old car while playing "Piece of Shit Car" by Adam Sandler. I bought a 2008 VW Passat Turbo. It is nicer than anything I have ever owned. I like that the passenger window works, the airconditioning works, the paint isn't chipping off, the break fluid doesn't leak, the motor doesn't sound like it will stall out every time I come to a stop, and it doesn't need $1000 worth of work. It is pretty sexy.

I have been geocaching lately! I found 5 yesterday. This is my new favorite hobby, and everyone I tell about downloads the geocaching app right away. It is so much fun!!!

Guess what?

So many shenanigans with Lego as roommates - we were in my bed watching Storm Chasers (because, c'mon it's the best fucking show EVER) ((RIP Matt Hughes, my storm chasing pretend husband)) and I saw something moving on the ceiling, something big. "WHHAAAATTT is THAAT..??!" Omg it's a roach. Lego then ran to grab a bowl and a thingy to trap it, but it put up a fight... we screamed several times. But! Lego contained the roach on the door, that is when I grabbed the bowl and was looking around in nervousness... "Wtf do I do now?!" We decided to not put it outside in case it returned, and we tossed it in the toilet to flush it... but that mother fucker swam underwater and resisted the flushing. So, we... obviously.... put a bunch of random shit on the toilet to block it's escape. I guess it swam into the pipes because we never saw it again.

But I gotta say... everytime I go to the bathroom, I think about that thing swimming out and getting revenge. Here is a video.

I got pretty drunk the other night... and I attempted to put together a blender (that my lovely shootfest ladies bought for me) and make a healthy smoothie. Welp! Attempt is the key word here... I didn't put the bottom on (the part with the blades) and when I put the coconut milk in, it just trickled out of the bottom. So I was like... oh shit, how could I forget that part of the blender?! Lego then took this video--




THEN! I put the bottom on and blended everything up, but when I went to take the blender bowl off to pour my smoothie into a cup - the bottom came off and everything poured out. More videos to come with the aftermath. @legoshelly instagramed a photo of it.

So! I never got to drink my smoothie and I had quite the green mess to clean.

On another note, I have had my newly adopted 2 year old 3 legged Yorkie for a week now, and she is pretty great. People ask how she lost her leg, I just say I couldn't afford the whole dog.

aaaaaaaand I made it through the adoption process and get my 2 year old 3 legged Yorkie, Bella, tomorrow morning!!! I am so so happy Many photos of her to come! Fence building went well, thanks to a little help from a friend

Moving has been going well, but Lego and I need a couch or two. I think I will swing by Goodwill in the next couple days. I would like to get some outdoor seating too, since we plan to get a fire pit! Our wishlists are in our profiles for anyone interested.

Today I drove a Uhaul for 6 hours round trip, and it was a fucking mission. But I did it! and I unpacked it pretty much by myself, minus the mattress, and I assembled the bed alone - I am turning into such an independent woman! Yay!!

Tomorrow I am building a fence! I have no idea how, but hopefully it goes well so I can finally have my house visit with the dog adoption agency... which hopefully goes well too, then I can get Bella - a 3 legged Yorkie!! Woooo!!!

Lego and I live together now, we have been unpacking the last few hours - I am super stoked about this year to come with her as a roommate.

I am a head bartender at my bar now, well... for the past few weeks - and it's great! But I realized that I am the only person I work with that has absolutely no love life. Wtf?! I am in a slump. I guess I kinda come across as someone who is not interested in dating, when people meet me for the first time. I suck at flirting.

Guess it's back to Netflix for the millionth night in a row - any suggestions for me to watch?

I'm adopting a dog!!!! (knock on wood) I am going through the application process to rescue a little 2 year old Yorkie with only 3 legs, she is super sweet. So now, not only am I moving in a few days, but I need to prepare the home for the house visit with the adoption agency ppl. Theeeeen if that goes well, I get to meet the dog on a second visit. Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen if that goes well, I get to pick her up and take her home for good!

I had a Yorkie for 17 years and she was my life. It has been 3 years since she passed, and it is impossible to think about her and not cry. But!! I am ready to love again, and this lil tripod is the one for me. I knew it the second I saw her video on petfinder.com

So!! Wish me luck Hopefully I will have her in a few weeks. If you would like to send Bella (that is her name btw) gifts, I have added things for her to my wishlist.

Thanks to whomever sent me the Parsley Plus cleaner, that shit is awesome, I highly recommend it. It smells great and is 100% all natural, cleans great, neutral PH. It's the bomb, pretty much.

I have decided to get my life back on track. I quit my second job so I could get a couple days off per week. I've been spending any extra time getting drunk, so I am going to chill on the alcohol and start being healthy again. I am going to focus my energy on moving forward with my life and figuring some things out. I have a lot of travel plans next year, which is awesome, but I also need a new car (mine is ooooold and starting to fall apart). So! I need to shape up, start saving, and focus!!! Wish me luck!

It's after 5am and I just scarfed down an entire pint of Jimmy Fallon's Late Night Snack icecream while watching bartender pet peeve videos on youtube. It was a rough ladies night at work.



Things that annoy me:

1) don't flag me down and then sit there going 'ummmm.... uhhhhhh.... hmmmmm.....' dude, wtf, you don't know what you want shit bags? k bye!
2) don't give any reaction when I ask to see your ID. I don't give a shit if you are impressed that you are still getting IDed, and by NO means should you ever act impressed if you are 23 years old you fucking shit heads. 'oh?? really???!!! haha wow, im flattered.' you turned 21 a year ago you stupid ass.
3) don't ask me to get you MY favorite drink if you are not completely open to all the possibilities. then complain that you don't like it. 'that'll be 10$ jack ass'.

I just had to stop writing because I had to throw up half of the pint of icecream I stupidly scarfed down. That was horrible. I got super queezy, heart started pounding from all the sugar, and then BAM! ran to the bathroom and just threw up icecream that was still cold. That was disgusting.

Anyways, now that I have an appropriate amount of icecream in my belly...

I'll move on and tell you that I have been house hunting with another sg - hopefully we find something soon because I am stoked to get settled and decorate! Before she moved to Florida, she said to another sg - "We should move to Florida, because old people live in florida, and old people die, so we can buy all their stuff for cheap." I love her for that quote. It's true. And we all die, so I'd be honored if a hot suicidegirl thought my shit was cool enough to buy.

Back to bartending - kinda... The other night I stayed late for someone at work, so they let me run upstairs to the office to eat my slice of cheesecake (two of us were craving slices, so we ordered some). I couldn't find a utensil to eat it with, so I shamefully grabbed the whole slice with my hand and started eating it. As I sat there on the floor (no chairs), eating this slice with my bare hands, I thought, 'what if someone walks in on me doing this? they would think I was insane.' I went back down, and after close... I turned around to see 3 of my co-workers all eating the same slice of cheesecake with their bare hands, all 3 of them digging their fingers into a single slice.... that is when I knew I belonged. I finally belong. We shared a moment.

I think I have been drunk for months. After I left England because of an epic breakup, I have just been drinking. The good thing is, I work almost every day - so I can't get wasted, but the second I get off... I drink, a lot. We have been broken up since February, and I am just now noticing guys again. So. Many. Hot. Guys. But I know if I get to know them I will just be disappointed, so I just look from afar. I am not ready for a relationship and I have never been the type to just fuck, so I have forbidden myself from going on dates.

Most ppl relax and watch TV or something after work, but I get home from work between 3-4am, so my wind-down lasts till 7am. I don't mind though, it is kinda nice being awake when the rest of the world sleeps. It is much more peaceful. And believe it or not, I am a home-body - sometimes a cave person in my room. But it does suck when I need to get shit done during the day, because I don't take naps, so if I get up early - I am fucked for enough sleep before my next shift.

I have been cursing a lot lately.

Once I move and get settled, I am going back to my health-nut standards. The weather is getting really nice here and I need to research plants to grow on our porch. I also need to start reading again. It has been hard to find a book because the last one I read completely blew my mind. A customer gave me a book the other day, maybe I will read that next. Another customer gave me a sandwich. And another gave me free edamame. I really love being a bartender.

I especially love edamame.

I think it may be one of my favorite things. Ever.

Wtf am I going to be for Halloween? I was the Appliance Direct guy last year - he is a celebrity in FL for making shitty and hilarious commercials.
