Somewhat crushed that Netflix doesn't have V for Vendetta available on this early morn' of November 5th. In lieu of that, I recommend Ip Man, with Donnie Yen. It's pretty slick, and I might even pop it on myself.

As far as Netflix goes, having also spent many a nights with a whiskey and Netflix to keep me company, I recommend any of the following:

Anime: FLCL (pronounced fooley cooley) and Sekirei
TV shows: Lost (because its like a million episodes long and is literally just hot people on an island having... adventures)
The Walking Dead(...zombies. period.)
Movies: Hobo with a shotgun, Super 8, Pontypool, Adaptation, Babel, Trade, Limitless, Paper Man, and Timer
I also suggest Ip Man if you like sick kung fu action.

Rewatching all the old Ren & Stimpys! & Freaks 'n Geeks. I love being independent and handy- whether I have a boyfriend or not- just think of it as this.. you're doing all this character building stuff so when the right gentleman comes along you will be irresistable! Although you're already pretty irresistable.

I don't know if there's Burn Notice on Netflix, but it's worth checking. If it is, I strongly suggest watching it, it's awesome.

Alas, I'm quite happily taken at present. I've been pushing Cabin in the Woods on all my friends; all agree a fantastic movie. Makes a great double feature with Tucker and Dale Versus Evil.
