That's great! I've been learning to homebrew over the past year. My pumpkin ale was great and I am going to attempt my first Beligan Trippel this weekend. It is great that you have been able to follow this passion into a profession.

try the CAMRA festivals in England, you'll find beers from 300 yr old+ breweries, a lot of traditional brews without the preservatives and real taste.....

if you can get it try moonraker, its a relatively young brew........bot potent!....lol

Well you are coming back to the right place for breweries and beer, we have a few over here! I just made my first homebrew batch from a starter kit recently and was surprised how well it came out!

I've only made two batches, both from kits. I think I'm ready to try something a little more advanced. I like a lot of different styles of beer, depending on my mood. Do you have a favorite? Nothing like a dog! I miss mine and it's been almost a year. Sigh!

Beer is great; and i love craft beer. Here you can start finding them more and more.

Nifty, I didn't realize you were *that* into beer. I have friends who homebrew and turn out some very nice batches. I'm not a beer snob, but I am picky. With rare exception, "If I can see through it, I don't drink it." Porters and stouts for me! Good luck on the exam!

That all sounds pretty dope. A buddy and I brewed a scotch ale earlier this year that turned out pretty good. I recently got into cheese pairings and just this Thanksgiving chose brews specifically based on the food we were having. And with all the beer bars and brewpubs around here, I'm not sure why I've never tried working at any of them. Sorry about your dog. My grandma's dog passed a little while ago and it was a sad scene. Sure it wasn't my dog, but she'd been apart of my life the last 16 years. Anyways, good luck and have fun in your future endevours.
