Sorry to hear that you feel that way. I have made quite a few "friends" on here but have not met them in real life. Sometimes it feels like there is not really a connection. But I do hope that you don't give up on the site because of it. The few I have met and dealt with in real life have definitely made it worthwhile. I can only hope that you meet up with a few like I have and feel a connection to the site again.

It's all because social construct has changed. It's the difference between friend and "friend". What a difference quotation marks can make.

we used to talk about music a lot as i recall and recommend bands to each other... not sure why that tapered off... but let's be friends, homey
