I would always put my cat on one side of a close door and from the other side under the door I would start moving a long piece of paper in and out from under the door on the cats side. The cat would love this

awww, they are adorable. As strange as it sounds, Halloween is not much of a holiday in Australia (well, it has been picked up in the past three years though it is more isolated than what you have in the states) But, yeah I am working on Halloween as well.
