devilducky and I are moving to a new apartment. In an example of really poor planning on our parts all of our bills are coming due at the same time we are trying to get our finances in order to pay a security and pet deposit. Ack!
So! I have stuff sitting around I made that I've never sold. If you're interested in purchasing it, head over to my website and then to my shop to see if you want anything. My paycheck bounced.
I didn't find out until today (my letter from the bank didn't arrive until this morning) so I cannot contact anyone from my temp agency until Monday.
I really really REALLY wanted to leave a message on their voicemail that was just me saying "fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck" until it cut me off but I DIDN'T because I am being the bigger person here.
Despite the fact that my account is now overdrawn by $370.

So today I was trying to find the review of the movie Underworld I wrote on this journal and I thought rather than digging through all of those back journal entries trying to find it (searching around the release date of the film won't help because I saw it at a friend's house on DVD god knows how long after it came out on video) I'd just Google it. I didn't find the entry but I did find this:

It is sort of long winded you guys, sorry about that.
In other news, this new conch piercing goes from being fine and healing quite nicely to gnarly and crusty and stuff every other day, it cannot decide whether it wants to cooperate or not. I MUST INSIST YOU COOPERATE NOW CONCH PIERCING. Seriously. I want to sleep on the right side of my head again some time soon.

I got a new car. "WHAT KIND IS IT WREN?" What? I am naked on the internet! I'm not going to tell you guys what kind of car I'm driving. You might see it when we are passing on the street and drive by screeching "I SAW YOUR BEEEEEWWWBS!" and that would be really embarrassing for both of us!
It is a small car (hooray!). It is the same make (but not model) that I learned to drive in - and it drives pretty much the same way! I am pretty excited about that because I've only had it since yesterday and I already feel like I've been driving it forever. Bonus! It is used (of course) and because I am so poor I basically had to call my mother and ask for money. My mother is the coolest. You all wish you had my mother. I actually feel really guilty about it. I try not to ask my mother for much, most of the money she has now is insurance money from my dad and that is HER money, she needs it a lot more than I do. We aren't the kind of family who can afford to give really extravagant gifts so it is sort of an odd situation. The car that just died used to be hers and I felt really weird about that, too. Hopefully within a few years I'll be on a career path that will allow me to pay her back.
ALSO I got my conch pierced yesterday, FUCK that was disgusting. I think I am going to have nightmares about that noise. I went with my best buddy who got her tragus pierced and she made the best faces I think I have ever seen on someone getting a piercing. When the piercer did my ear right after and I sat there like a stone she said "Well aren't you So. Cool." and basically told me I sucked, ha ha. I have never had a cartilage piercing before, I am really surprised how sore it is.
The aforementioned friend joined my roller derby league this recruitment cycle and we have already been asked by FOUR separate people if we are sisters, it is really strange. We do have a passing resemblance in that we both have brown hair and glasses but other than that I think we look pretty different. So now I am calling her my Pretend Sister. I cannot wait to bout against her (the odds that we are going to end up on the same team are pretty much astronomical since my team only has a couple of spots on our roster this season), it should be a lot of fun.

So! Updates!
The travel team B team won our bout against the Stateline Roller Derby Divas in Beloit. The girls were AMAZINGLY sweet hosts and gave me more post-bout compliments than I think I have ever received in my life. Thanks Beloit girls! You are awesome! PreFlash Gordon (one of our regular photographers) was good enough to come along (what a sweetheart) and took some great pictures. There usually aren't many pictures of me at a home bout since I do not skate too much at home, so I was pleased to get some good ones.

I actually KNOCKED THAT GIRL DOWN in the last picture which is pretty awesome because I almost never knock anyone down. I am a positional blocker, not an OOMPH blocker.
In other news I now have an account on Twitter which means I can update my BLAAGH to a certain extent pretty much wherever I am, which is great. I miss the spontaneous, goofy updates I used to do here on SG back when I was really active and I feel like Twitter has sort of given that opportunity back to me. So that is fun!
I don't have much else to report. I am working. I have been talking a lot about going back to school but I am really scared to do actually do it. I need to get more product on my site but haven't because I am FUCKING LAZY. Ugh. I bought giant circular barbells for my new 2G earholes and realized they were so heavy that they were pulling down on my earlobes enough that I could SEE LIGHT ABOVE THEM between the hole and the jewelery so I took them out. That is not really the look I am going for. Boo to spending money on earrings I cannot wear! HOWEVER I did finally get some tunnels and some big cheesy silver hoops to wear through them and I am pretty pleased with that. I was wearing them while driving down to WI for the bout and stopped at a Wal-Mart in Tomah for a car charger for my phone. People were staring at me like I had an extra head. Possibly they also thought I was a big ole' lesbo who was going to steal their babies and infect them with gay and take them to metaphorical clam bakes because as people keep bringing to my attention all of a sudden, my super short hair is kind of butch. NO SHIT SHERLOCK. Liking penis does not preclude me from being kind of butch.
I hope you guys are having a nice summer so far. I spent the 4th with some good friends at a cabin here in MN. Our group is pretty low rent but the guy whose family owns the cabin got some CONTRABAND fireworks from Wisconsin. The people across the lake have money so they got CONTRABAND fireworks, as well. The night of the 4th was basically a fireworks duel with a show on either side of the lake as the other folks are right across the lake from our friend's cabin. It was pretty fucking awesome. Everyone who lives on the lake was screaming and blowing air horns and whistling. AND we were all pretty messed up so that was awesome, too.
That is all I have to report right now.
