he's my new kitty. his name is akuma and he lives at my boyfriends apartment because my mother is allergic to cats and didn't want him to live here. i love him to death, but i'm jealous because he will probably end up liking my boyfriend the most since he will see him more. oh well. he's just so cute !

so a couple weeks ago i decided that for my little break from college that i would try and get an internship at my local newspaper, foster's. i figured that it wouldn't be a paying job, i woudln't get to write and that basically all i would be doing was getting the big guys their coffee. but at least i would have something english-ish to put on my resume because right now all i have is ten years of meat cutting. anywayyyyyyy i've had some interviews and they gave me the inernship and i get to be a full time reporter ! i actually get to cover 4 or 5 town beats and it is going to be so cool. i had to go out shopping and get some nice dressy clothes because jeans and tshirt will not cut it. i'm very happy about this new job and the money is going to be awesome but i am scared to death ! my editor said that everything i write will be published and what if i suck ! i've never done this before but for some reason they think i can. ugh. i have good/bad nervous butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it ! and i don't even start till the 10th ! I HAVW TO BE THERE AT 5:30 AM ! haha. this will be fun though. it's a good thing. i can feel it.
