i haven't updated in what seems like forever and i have some lazy time. definitely time for a much needed update!

i had a new set go up! i do realize that sawa has previously photographed me rolling around in a bed in the early morning hours, but first of all it was years ago and second, if it aint broke, don't fix it.. right? here is what we came up with for round two in wendy does ohio.

most of you are familiar with the suicidegirls pinups for soldiers project. for those of you who aren't, it's a charity that i started that raises money to send suicidegirls care packages (including playing cards, stickers, pinup photos, etc) to soldiers stationed overseas. we recently put together a 2009 calendar through cafepress including images that were shot specifically for this project. we would really appreciate if you could lend a hand and purchase a calendar! not only will you end up with some seriously sexy ladies on your wall, you'll also be helping out a great cause as any and all proceeds go directly towards funding the package shipments. all of our volunteers pay for this right out of our pockets, so we can really use the support of the SG community!!
3. i won't go into much detail about my job here, but i will say that i work my ass off sometimes for up to 13 hours a day, i get lots of fancy perks, and i love every single second of it. i know that if i keep pushing myself, the sky is the limit, and i plan on doing just that. who knew that after years of interning in the world of fashion that is where i would actually end up (i switched it up for a minute there and got a degree in psychology, thinking that would be my calling). marketing and sales have always been sort of second nature to me so where i am at now is a great fit. i'm thinking of going back to school for an MBA but i think i might be able to climb up the ladder without it ... suggestions? anyone have one? regret it? don't regret it? think they could have gotten where they are without it?
4. speaking of the world of fashion, i've become completely enamored with interior design and decorating house as of late. the problem is my apartment is already taken care of, for the most part. we went so design-crazy when moving in that we finished just about everything. now all i can hope for is the approval of my boyfriend to redecorate. we only moved in a year ago and i feel like it's too soon.

about 8 months ago, i took my clothes off for Sawa very early in the morning in the bed I shared with NicoleLee at The Lofts in Columbus. After a long weekend of partying and money raising, it was the most relaxing thing I did to roll around in a bed naked for a couple of hours.

The Suicidegirls 2009 Pinups for Soldiers Calendar is finally here!!
It took a lot of hard work to put this together, and I'm so, so proud of how this came out. AlissaBrunelli and Cherry are absolutely incredible and made it look so amazing. Alissa took the calendar photos back in September and we are currently using them for in our care packages that we send to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan (and other locations every once in a while).
This calendar has been an idea floating around in my head for years now and I'm so glad we finally pushed for it and worked hard and got it all figured out, I really can't wait to see the final product hanging on my wall!!
All of the proceeds from the calendar will go directly towards funding our care packages and shipping costs for this project. Up until now we have been funding it ourselves, and the project has grown to such an extraordinary extent (we have literally sent out thousands of packages), we had to come up with some ways to fundraise! I know a lot of people on this site care a lot about this project and I am frequently asked about ways to donate. This is a product I'm hoping a lot of people can enjoy.
I also owe a lot of thanks to the sexy ladies of the calendar (who's pages are posted below). Participating in this shoot was completely voluntary and involved no sort of compensation, they are amazing ladies for participating and helping out with this. And now you can all have sexy pictures of them hanging on your wall!

Working retail is slowly driving me crazy, it's so not for me, I hate the stress and the constant worry about my paycheck (I make commission). A commission paying job is not a fun one in the state of our world's economy. I need to get my ass in gear and find something else that promises a steady income. My boss expects us to take our jobs WAY too seriously, and it's like, look lady, I'm 26 and have a bachelors degree, I'm not here because I want to be. If I spoke Hebrew at a totally fluent level (which I'm reaching slowly), I could apply to manage a store and not just stand there and sell clothes in it. I work with 19 year olds.
