Maybe they will understand and refund it because of all that happened? Institutions most of the time dont even know and whatever the computer says....maybe they can correct?

That really sucks. Universities can be complete assholes if you do not jump through every god damn hoop they want you to...

If you dropped the classes in time, it's probably just an error. @the community college I go to, you have until a certain date to drop a class w/o penalty. I'd talk to them and see what's up.

i know how you feel. the college admissions/financial people are inhuman killers.

Hope you get it all straightened out, with no more than a small blood donation at worst.

Plan A: Any of our SG Network work in administration?
Plan B: There is an administrative assistant somewhere who you need to befriend. Tell 'em your story.
Plan C: Learn the catalog at least as well as they do.
Plan D: Tell 'em you're a SG and if they don't treat you nicely, prospective students from coast to coast will hear about it. No, wait a minute, threats are a bad idea. See Plan E.
Plan E: Publish here the email of the right admissions officer and we'll see how many of us, from how many countries, can fill that email In Box with positive, polite, persistent, and innumerable emails in support of your candidacy. You gotta stand out from the crowd, sweetie, and maybe we're all good for something.

I happen to know that this site is disproportionately frequented by college/university faculty. Maybe something will break your way.
