It's been snowing! Requisite snow pictures.

I bought this print by Reuben Ireland and I love it.
(I love all his stuff. I need more! I need to fill my house with it!)

I saw swans.

I played RudeScrabbleNoRules. Because I'm sooooooo mature.

Then I drank gin and went to this 80s night dressed in black lace and sky high heels... There's been lots of going out. Its January, you've gotta do something to stave off the winter blues. I'm supposed to be going to this burlesque night this weekend, and the theme is vintage/20s/burlesque/carnival/decadence... I'm not sure what to wear!!! I don't want to buy a trashy corset from a costume shop... I want it to be sexy AND classy, and a little bit weird. Maybe I could make antlers for myself? (Inspired by my new print!) Or perhaps a venetian mask is required? Or massive ostrich-feather fans? I don't know. Ideas on a postcard please!!!

We might finally get a little snow the next couple of days. It won't be any more than you have in the pictures.... as long as I don't have to break my back shoveling it off the driveway, I'm good.
The print is cool, so maybe do something with antlers...though you might look more like a Celtic nature goddess than a vintage burlesque performer!

I love snow pictures. I really do like the winter for so many reasons except the crazy coldness. I'm sure you will find a smashing out fit. Of course I will be perfect because classy + sexy = Viking. :-) keep up the good work little lady.

The burlesque party has plenty of fun options. Perhaps a retro gown with a antique fur wrap (imitation fur wrap if you prefer) and a period style hat or headpiece, and a couple of long costume jewelry necklaces could interesting. The Art-Deco women in old advertisment artwork or a a sexy version of Cruella Deville.
