Soooo.... I was on PETA2.com just now, to find out if my street team points got updated yet, and I got all caught up in THIS!!!

Maple Syrup?

Yeah. I felt kind of bad because I have a 6 year old sister with all the plushies of the mascots... I just imagined the lot of them covered in baby seal blood...
And those colouring pages are kind of traumatizing!!!

Wow, that is not okay. I guess I'll be boycotting Canadian Maple Syrup now. Thanks for the information.

wow. so...I'm vegan and Canadian and in no way support what is happening to the seals. But Boycotting Maple Syrup? Really? Maple Syrup? How often does one buy maple syrup? I mean, it is better then doing nothing I guess but still...maple syrup? Maybe it's because I only buy maple syrup once a year....

as for peta2, man, I haven't been on there in ages. I wonder if my account is still active...time to check, check, check it out....

uh i live in VT a state famous for maple syrup so question how much world syrup even comes from Canada to make a statement by boycotting it. and look at all the human right violations we ignored for the Beijing Olympics.
