Also, I'm responding to your comment on my blog because I don't know where else I'd say this:

Yiddish is awesome. I have flash cards. Not even joking. The class revolved more around geopolitical issues, like where the Jews could develop Yiddish Culture, and how people felt about Yiddish, than actually learning any of the language, or listening to much klezmer/reading Yiddish stories. I mean, there's no such thing as enough klezmer for me, but we did read all the Tevye stories, plus some other stories, so I guess I'm just complaining for the sake of complaining, but that's kind of a Jewish stereotype, so I'd say the class was a success.
