Happy 2012!!!!



2011 was a big year for me. So many changes, and I think I moved in and out of houses and apartments more times this past year than any other year of my life... 5 I think. 3 of those during my first semester of school. It's been such a crazy journey struggling to let go of people and places, ideas and situations that no longer serve me. Trying to form and work towards positive goals.



December was a busy hectic month. I finished my first semester of Electrical Engineering Technology with a 4.28 GPA! Hopefully I can keep that up. I start second semester tomorrow, and am a bit nervous as I don't have any lady teachers this semester and I think I am the only girl in my class now. I'm crossing my fingers that there will somehow be at least one other. I obviously knew I was getting into a mostly male-dominated field, but I guess I didn't think that would be as isolating as it is. Its all very dude-bro.

I became single right before exams. It was sad times but ultimately left me feeling lighter. Have you ever been in love with some super beautiful soul, but had to accept that that person was just never going to understand you? That's pretty much how it is. As far as break ups go, it was pretty chill, being a thousand miles apart probably helps.





Christmas was lovlier than expected, lots of very small gatherings. My family is the coolest

My last blog entry didn't have any words, so here's some words... and maybe also pictures.

I know my blog entries are super sparse and not overly informative, but I really want to be writing more in life, so I'm going to try to not be super shy, k? Its funny because I'm not shy about being naked on the internet, my thoughts on the other hand... that's private stuff ahaha...

So I think I didn't mention in my last entry (being that it was only pictures) that I am taking Electrical Engineering Technology at school! I started in september It had been a goal of mine since back in 2009 when I first started trade school in BC, I quickly realized that I wanted to do something more challenging (and that I really loved math!). So I am in my first semester at Red River College in Winnipeg and everything is math! My first semester consists mainly of Pre-Calculus, Physics, Digital Logic, DC Circuits, and PC Applications, and there's so much math in everything! My final exams for the semester are 4 weeks away and I feel awesome about them. This week I even started tutoring

Also my campus is pretty neat.





I had Mike visit from BC for 10 bliss filled days of distraction at the end of October! Soooo nice! Maybe he will move here, but I guess I don't know. It's always damn hard getting used to being by myself again after we part ways, but I feel like I'm getting better at it. It'd be nice if we can live in the same place sometime soon, but either way I feel super fortunate to have such an amazing boyfriend, and its really nice to be with someone who can function and pursue their own goals without me around. And he has a fine mustache.



On that note. I fucking love November.

I am moving at the end of the month! For the fourth time in four months, such a pain in the ass! Who would have thought it would be so difficult to find a living situation that is affordable, decently quiet, respectful, and drama free. My soon to be new roommates seem chill, fingers crossed. The apartment is much closer to school than where I am now.

Maybe this will be the winter that I don't stop riding my bike. Though I must say riding in -14c (that's 6.8 fahrenheit) against the wind wasn't fun yesterday, and it is only going to get colder.

Still no new set... I do want to do one, but the last one didn't even make it to member review, so understandably I am hesitant to take the time...

Someone asked me to make a video with me speaking, because they were curious about what my voice sounds like... I am still working on my shyness.

I have been thinking about tumblr lately. I have one but I don't really use it. Do you have one? I would like to see it.

Hello Internet-Land!!!

Life is real nice I must say I just moved across the city at the beginning of the month. I'm living in a super chill house with some good friends, things are quiet and I am stoked on life in general. Work is pretty sparse these days, which could use improvement. I've been working casually with a renovations contractor doing mostly electrical work, but haven't had any work with him for over a month now. I picked up some temp office work in the meantime, which isn't optimal, but I've got my fingers crossed that my bills will somehow get paid this month *sends out intention to the universe* and ok, I'm confident everything will work out

My days have been mostly lazily spent reading, doing math homework, playing guitar, writing songs, hanging out with rats and friends, and trying to quit smoking (Day 1 today! Again!) Been hooping more too, which is definitely needed, I always forget these simple things that will keep my brain happy in the wintertime. I made a video today!




My love is coming from BC to visit me in only 15 days now! So stoked! I haven't seen him since before Christmas, and man, this long distance relationship thing is hard sometimes.



I got my letter from the college finally telling me I'm starting school in the fall for Electrical Engineering! I'm kinda scared of the commitment of staying in Winnipeg for two and a half years, but definitely feeling that it will be worthwhile, and hoping my student loan will be easily obtained. My plan is after finishing the two and a half year certificate, to go to the University of Victoria for year 3 and 4 to get my degree. Knowing that my plan involves leaving Winnipeg in a set amount of time makes the whole thing less scary, not that I don't love it here, but I don't want to get stuck here either. I miss BC so much, and can't wait to get back there for the summer. Hopefully while I'm out west this summer I can arrange to do a shoot with Cherry or Lavonne.

In the meantime I'm still hoping to get a set shot here in Winnipeg soonish, still figuring out the details...

Just finished my second day of school at the college here in Kelowna! I am taking a gateway to the trades program for women, it seems pretty good so far. I wasn't planning on staying in Kelowna but then I stumbled upon some government funding for school so it looks like I'll be here for a while. After this program, which ends in December, I'm taking Pre-Apprenticeship Electrical starting January which will get me my Level 1, totally paid for, I am stoked! I had almost given up on going to school and then I saw this ad on the bus for this sweet initiative they've got going to get more women into trades, so I'm taking full advantage.

I've been living in my tent on an orchard where me and Bastard were picking pears. Apple picking starts there soon, but I'm just going to do that on the weekends. Its sweet that the orchard owners don't mind me living there and going to school, and they might even let us keep living there after the season ends. Its starting to get pretty cold at night, though, and I'm hoping to acquire a camper to move into *crosses fingers*. Come on universe.

Here I am! Back in SG-land, if anyone remembers me Just reacquainting myself with the site now... checking out what's changed and what I've missed in my year and a half hiatus...

You may be asking what's new with me... well for one I am now living in BC as of about a month ago, currently camping out in Kelowna, hoping to start apple picking at the end of the month. Also I got married! Just a week ago, actually, at Shambhala music festival in Salmo, me and my love got handfasted nakedly, it was amazing



I'm hoping to shoot some wicked new sets very soon!
