I think philosophically sometimes we humans have adjusted ourselves to be so ideal. And you want to help animals etc. Yet the only honest way to cope is to, ultimately, put it in perspective by considering how common and brutal life is in nature.

Being wary of four animals is one thing but the fact that you have intelligence and class strikes me as a lot more significant. We have to accept that many people are very crude in their reasoning and can't see the shortcomings of their own simple logic. Good luck in the hunt.

Yeah we struggled to find a place that would have us with just one dog, four animals is a whole other story. That sucks that they're not even willing to talk with you though, it sounds like they're just happy to take the easiest route and just ignore your plight. Well, I hope you find somewhere soon, and when you do I hope it has good water pressure (always a risk when you're renting)

Good luck finding an animal friendly place; it can be tough no matter where you are. And depending on your community, crazy breed-specific bans can be an extra headache.
